The Milwaukee Public Museum is a member of the ASTC and ROAM reciprocal programs. Check with the museum you are visiting to see if they are also members to receive reciprocal admission benefits.
Yes.
In 1879, various collections were incorporated into the Natural History Society of Wisconsin (the foundation for the Milwaukee Public Museum) and included 3500 rocks and minerals, and 1870 fossils.
There's abundant handicap parking in the main, enclosed, parking lot. On-street parking is available too; I've noticed numerous open spots the last few times we've been there. I'm sorry I can't speak to whether or not there's a charge!
The museum offers a free app (downloadable on Android Google play or Apple app store) called "MPM All In", which includes exhibit social stories, videos, communication prompts, etc. For more audio-guide information, I would check the front desk or call museum directly.

I believe you can't reserve the free day tickets online until the week before the date. You can always call and see if they can reserve tickets for you, but im not sure if they're restricted to only selling it the week before, as well.
MPM is currently open Thursday - Sunday. For the most update information on hours of operations and COVID procedures, please go to www.mpm.edu/reopening
Can somebody please help my son and I.....
My sone is autistic and an artist. When he talks about something or a memory he needs specifics. He thinks he remembers an exhibit that was named " A World of Tomorrow" Does anyone remember this?

No I do not remember this. Contact museum and ask them.
I believe that you park in the main garage and then you have to get your ticket stamped or checked at the front desk inside the museum when you check in.
I have found what I think is a Lee Firearms rifle made in Wisconsin. I believe you have a couple in your museum. Is there some I can contact to get some more information on it. I live in Rome Ga. Thanks.

It shows about every region of the world, or a look at the way it used to be. A little glimpse of everything imaginable. Well worth th visit if you are in the area.

In parking structure next to museum, have your ticket validated when buying tickets for museum. Only 5 dollars for parking then. Stay in extreme right lane when exiting if paying by cash.
I remember the Dinosaur Dash! It took place in the 1980's and 1990's. My Uncle ran it every year. I remember the triceratops t-shirts. 1999 might have been the last year it was held. We've been members for the past few years- if they were still holding it, we would have heard something about it.

We spent a good two hours there and only got through 2 or 3 exhibits taking our time and reading. I feel like we probably could have spent a couple more there no problem.
