Great service, nice people!

Worse office ever. They blame it on covid, and ms. Lopez is very condescending and moody. My child and i require special accomodations due to our disability and she wouldnt even listen. She said we accomadate you by having you wait in a car, when i told her that was worse because of our disability she said that was the only accomadation she can give, and kept giving a condescending tone, and fake smile.

They take forever to get a hold of you have to call several times it doesn't send you to the right extension when you press the button it says depressed for your need and call repeatedly after waiting for 40 minutes to hang up on you when it does start to answer before anyone even says anything maybe they just pick it up and hang it up right away I don't know but it took calling every day hours a day for 2 and 1/2 weeks till I finally got a hold of someone! SMH unreal ignorance borderline inhumane when they're supposed to be there to help you and they don't even answer the phone for you and these places are closed and not close if they're open. When I finally did talk to someone they were very helpful and she was very nice!

Huge disappointment from a GOVERNMENT office. Very relatable to DMVs. Helpful staff does not exist, we are just a number so they can get a paycheck & go home. Ex: Security is on a repeat button - You will hear, “please find a seat wait for your number”… even if your were just trying to ask where the restroom is! I lasted over 1.5 year trying to solve an issue that was created by their transition between new and old systems but clearly nobody knew nor tried to find the root of the issue.

So called entitlements? It's not entitlements for some. It's needs! Get it straight!
Unfortunately I was told by another employee that they do not answer their phones! And your best resource to get anything accomplished is to actually go to the building itself in Naperville! I have not had link replenishment in over a month so I'm going there today at 8:30 a.m. as soon as they open! I'm broke and have no food. Granted I'm not starving but I don't know what the problem is. I'm authorized I have a card it took 3 months to get it and now I can't get it replenished?!?☹️ It's not like I get$1,000 a month I get under $200 a month. Which I'm very grateful for.
Makes absolutely no sense
my guess is that should be a review?
Cause they have millions of applications and questions to take care. Unfortunately we need to call them an reminder about our case. Sorry .. I did it too many times. 😭😭😭😭
They had problems with the systems and a lot of people lost their benefits. You have to go into the office to correct it. It happened to me and i went into the office and corrected the problem. If u dont go in you will never get it.
Its walk ins only, as soon as you walk in, dont forget to take the number token for your turn :)
Set up a appointment for SNAP
They are open you need to go up and park in front wait for u to be the first car in line by door go in one at a time be prepared to wait at least a hour get there early good luck just went twice this week phones will not be answered and no one will call you back trust me
Its a public assistance office where you can sign up for medicaid, food stamps, WIC, babysitting assistance. It's also a place where they offer assistance to find employment.
Yes you can walk in and give yourself some time to get there . traffic is not all that it is a little nutty .
I would think not
Bank statements SSN and SSI income statement
Yes
Yes
They are very strict about the mask rule and the only left 1 person in the office at a time. They may make you stay in the car if there is no one to watch your child. The office is essentially working as a drive thru in a way.
Yes they are walk in. I don't know about appt. They never answered my calls or messages. Good luck!!
Call ahead for the most current information.
Not sure, but you can do it online.
Did u end up going in??? I’m wondering the same since phones r never answered and anything done online never gets processed on time
They are good at getting people in and out.
I don't know. Have you tried calling or googling the site?
How do you get free rides to work from his dept?
Check web site for workig time.
Mostly all people facing same problem over there. So Best way to go in person.Be ready for 3-4 hours
I'll say it doesn't matter, because when you get there early or even if you get there later, they'll still give you a number if its a line. Remember everyone isnt there for the same reasons. Some have appointments and most walk in because they cant get through over the phone. Etc.... But my best answer is to go like 2 hours before they close. They're usually finishing up for the end of their day and they will see you sooner than going early and possibly waiting over 2+ hours. But the only way to be seen soon is to have an appointment but if you dont then l'll say going maybe 3-3:30 is your best and less wait time.
No one ever calls back. It's truly ridiculous. I've left a message to have the site manager call me back and even that person has never called.
Call ahead to make sure you have everything. Get there a little early and no matter what be nice.
I got there at 1pm & was out by 2:30. They go to lunch from 12-1pm.
You can either call or go to the office.
It can take a couple weeks at least sometimes
It takes a long time on hold, and you have to choose the right options.
Just seen your question May be snow strom last week that is the reason. Otherwise its open Monday to Friday.
What time do they open 7:30 or 8:30? The website says 8:30 but on google it’s 7:30.
they do not answer phones you have to go in there that is what I was told
