As a fellow victim, I don't appreciate the appearance of their more than unusual lack of empathy for the violation we feel when our crime occurs. But in the 40+ years I have lived in Arlington, I have found that is not the case. This city has grown from <35,000 people to a population of >350,000 and Dallas and Ft Worth has morphed from 2 distant cities into one hugh metroplex, DFW. Crime is a multi-jurisdictional industry. The @$$#0£€$ come from one town and run to another. The TONS of paperwork they do for even misdemeanors must go through their Legal department before is becomes public. Too many lawsuits today and we would pay for that too. But it does go out to other jurisdictions rapidly. car was.
