Can not contact them to order security light. If someone wanted new service they can't get thru the options they provide on their phone.

As an electrician of 5 years this was the absolute best service I’ve ever received for an on- off disconnect and they actually stuck around and helped! Brian was too notch super professional kind and curious and won’t be forgotten. Please continue your process as Brian was superb

I have been without power for over 4 hours. The electric is outrageously expensive yet the infrastructure must be awful as power outages are so frequent and then repairs so slow. Invest some money is keeping things up to date or some information after all these outages would be nice

If your service gets shut (I am a pay as YOU go member) how does that work?

I am also pay as you go. I have had it shut off 3 times just because I forgot. Lol. You gotta pay $10 to reconnect & it comes on immediately plus an electric payment of some kind. $20 or $10 whatever you put on usually.

Idk but that's a good place to start.. They're good people!!

My question is if they do a credit check what do they check for to get electricity.how much to get it started

They don't do credit checks any more. They have monthly service but the deposits are equal to the past 3 months of the previous usage on that property. And they have pre pay service which is u pay as u use its about 165.00 deposit which gives u 50.00 credit twords ur ele. From there u pay as u use it

What are peak hours for me not to be charged .just wondering.

I believe it costs more during the day, they charge more because people are up and using it. At night people are generally sleeping or at wprm so they're not using their service.

How much does it cost to switch electric from a deceased father name into mine

If you don't currently have service with REMC, it's a $30 membership fee, if it's disconnected, an $80 reconnect fee, and if you want traditional billing there could be a meter deposit anywhere from $200 and up, based on your star credit rating. If you want prepay instead of traditional, you have to have a $50 credit down to start.

If your already a Costner of remc can you transfer your service when you move
