So we called to put in my address to turn on the utilities. They put them in at the wrong address, the address right next to me. My landlord guy calls me saying I breached the lease. I did not know they did this as I was told I'd get a bill in the mail when I turned them on. We call back and they tell me that I told them the wrong address and they'll "pull the call" but didn't say they'd call me or my property back. Apparently y'all told him *I* was the one who talked to you and said it. Which is funny because I authorized my boyfriend to do it because I had COVID and couldn't talk.

i am trying to find answers. why am i answering this, I am looking for an answer as to why there are outages all over town. I heard a loud bang and now this. you guys make millions and trillions of dollars per customer, so can you guys please fix this.
The kiosks were actually hacked and everyones sensitive info was leaked and they dont want to take responsibilty for thier actions. So they just dont say anything hoping it will go away.

Also check and make sure youre furnace isnt gas my house the only thing gas is the furnace and theres a pilot light so youll see a charge year round

I believe if you switch to gas, city utilities obligation is to provide the gas line to the property, but the homeowner is responsible for the line from the street to the house 🏠

The deposit cost can vary based on a number of variables. Generally for a brand new residential account with no history, the deposit is $100, which is returned to the customer after 12 consecutive months of on-time payments. However, there are ways to waive that deposit. We'd recommend calling customer service at 863-9000 to discuss your situation specifically. And, yes, if you don't opt for any of the options that waive the deposit, it is added to your first month's bill, which you receive about 30ish days after starting service. There is typically no upfront charges when you open an account. Any charges would come on your first bill.
You need a damper to prevent back flow when the other is not in use. Flexible pipe is not really a good thing. Probably a code violation, but it is not safe.

Best thing to do is report the outage. There is a map you can pull up also that will show if there are other outages being reported throughout the city.
It can take up to 6 hours, but if its been more than three days since they turned off your power, you paid the bill, but you will have to put down a new deposit and everything.

It's usually in the am. If you have time get over asap in morning. As soon as you pay it at office at keoske . The driver who runs around in his van gets a signal back to the van an he won't come to your door adviseable to talk too u s an give them your receipt asap number. Good luck.
