Does center of hope help with motel rent

I went there at 7am & had to wait in a decent sized line. All they do Monday morning is schedule appointments for later that day & throughout the week depending on if you have a shut off notice or are already shut off or when your rent was due & if you have a 3 day notice. They're fairly quick. They'll open the doors at 8am

You can get there by 7am on Tuesday for a walk in. There'll be a line but they will take everyone in & schedule you an appointment. It'll be for that same day if your disconnected or later in the week if not.

Yes they help with the deposit but if you have anything else that you need help with you need to bring that into like a bill or possibly partial rent so then everything is taken care of in one go.. other than that you can only get there help once a year

That is exactly right go on there earlier than 5 a.m. because there's people out there lined up already 5 a.m. and they will help you as long as you have your eviction notice and you're one of the lucky ones to get in good luck and God bless!

To help with rent, you MUST have eviction notice. Call on Monday mornings. Line will be busy for HOURS, don't give up. If you plan on standing in line to get help, be there around 5:30AM! I AM NOT KIDDING ABOUT THIS! If you truly need help, you will do what it takes!

Yes or provide vouchers to similar places who offer exactly that, one example would be the 'open door' which is located in town. NOT the 'open door' on 21st Street-this location however provides access to their very good food bank once a month. The center of hope can also provide vouchers for places who can assist with furniture and cookware for example. Also try the Salvation Army- located very close to the open door in town which definitely provide clothing.

Sometimes they don't answerthe best thing to do is go up there on Tuesday I believe it is and stand in line be up there about 5 in the morning wait until the guy gets there and he'll let you in and then he'll make you an appointment

You will have to go up there on Tuesday its best to get there before 5 am and see them. They should be able to help you if you get there in time. But if you have been there before then I would call on Monday good luck getting through.

A lot of times you have to be referred by a social worker someone for them to help you but you yes they will help you and then if you don't need it you can read donate it back

What does gas co. Say about your going for assistance ? Will they hold off? If not make a verbal pay agreement I have found the gas co. To be fair. Speak to customer service and set up a payment plan that could give you a few more days, then follow up on your plans to apply for assistance. Ok?? DO CALL. ITS WORSE TO DO NOTHING

They paid my rent and my gas and electric bill and I only ask for rent and neither were in danger off shut off notice... Nor was my rent late at the time, just was in need of a helping hand due to illness!! Hope this helps...

Doors open between 7:00 & 8:00 I got there at 5:30 & there was already 60 people waiting in line also they only take a certain amount of people each day !

Proof of income rental agreement or if you're purchasing why you have to have help with this money what kind of expedited things happened this last 2 months no had to fix the car or something like that that you spent the money instead of doing the electric bill and to write that little bit of a letter up then you need to go in on Tuesday at 5:30 to 6:30 to get in line for an appointment or call all day basically on Monday between 8 and noon and in the afternoons 1 to 4 p.m. Get that appointment and make sure you keep it I hope that helps you good luck and God bless

I used two different phones my government phone and my regular phone to call in i just kept hitting redial it took me 1300 phone calls but right there at about 11 I finally got through they say it's different for every week all I can suggest is either keep calling 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm or The other option is to go over to them on Tuesday 5:30 in the morning to 6:30 in the morning where they give out appointment times to come back to it's on a first-come first-serve basis so if you would like to try and shoot for 5 in the morning go for it but they say it takes about 5 in the morning is when they start lining up in about 5:30 to start taking numbers and depending on the time frames and stuff it's either that day or Wednesday or even Thursday I've heard somebody get a Friday appointment also but I'm not sure the details on that you need to bring in your shut-off notice, proof of address, ID, proof of income like SSI or whatever, good luck Scott Bowker

They are very hard to get thru. I tried countless times and always got a busy tone. If you have a shut off notice, you can go in on Tuesday morning on a first come basis. Be prepared with all proof of income, bills and picture id and ss card.

Center of Hope can help. To get in the line early enough that you don't have to wait all day would require you to be out in the que very early in the morning when it's still cold. Keep calling and they should be able to help.

Walk in on Tuesdays for an appt..... Or call on Mondays for one.

They contact the landlord the same day.....
