We had a 9 yr old bday party there. It was excellent. If you don't rent a shelter take a 12x12 tarp for shade and some bag chairs. Lots of fun.

I was a strong detractor against the park when it opened, I will admit. Very vocal. After visiting and PLAYING!!! for 3 hours, it was an absolute blast! I’m 43 and in killer shape, would definitely suggest only an hour to start with if stamina or health is an issue. Excellent way to exercise if you get bored with typical gym workouts IMO. Well worth the time, money, and energy!

Totally fun, especially for the kids. Don't know why more towns don't have a place like this. Pretty busy, but it was 100 degrees out on a Saturday.

Questions & Answers

I have a 3year old Grand Baby. Though this place looks AWESOME, it does seem like 3 may be pushing it a bit. Opinions from any who have been would be great???

It's too big for a 3 year old. I doubt it would be any fun for them. Sure they will have a great time, as long as you are having a great time.

Curious about the lake clean up process to prepare for an activity like this. What steps were done to assure this lake was cleaned & searched to assure safety? There was a tornado that hit years ago along with cars & etc. most likely at the bottom.

You just have to be 18 or older to sign the waiver for yourself otherwise you will need to have a parent sign for you, you can fill out the waiver on line before you arrive.

Safety concern - Are there any fences to keep unattended children out of lake/park area when it is closed?

Lind Bat | Oct 26, 2019
Cole Kalkbrenner | Oct 26, 2019

Yes, there is perimeter around the park area and one entrance to lake area. Everyone must wear a provided coast guard approved life jacket, that we provide with admission. Aqua Guides are on the park watching patrons at all times. The only one allowed outside the perimeter is individuals who rent paddle boards, but they also must wear a provided coast guard approved vest.
