I've never had a facial done before but my girlfriend convinced me to try it here and I am happy to say that I am a fan! Karen B. did my facial and it was a wonderful experience. I was curious about my face and its health and she was very knowledgeable and informative identifying my skin type and what products I should look for to improve my skin - as well as what stuff to avoid! I tend to be self conscious about my face due to having vitiligo but Karen B. made me feel welcome and comfortable. Speaking of which, I did not know face massages were a thing and it seems Karen is an expert because I felt relaxed to the point I fell asleep during the session. She was gentle with any application of products and also detailed to me what I should experience. This was great because for the longest time I thought face/skin products were supposed to hurt to signal they were working but Karen taught me that is not the case at all. If the University is creating students like Karen B., then they are doing a fantastic job! I would highly recommend going here to help new aestheticians through their journey while getting high quality, educational, and discounted service.

I have been going to see Karen B. (Barbie) since May 2022 at the University of Aesthetics & Cosmetology to improve my skin. Due to my acne-prone skin, I had a lot of hyperpigmentation and sun damage from years of not wearing sunblock. Words don't do justice to how well my skin looks. My breakouts have reduced significantly, and my skin looks brighter with a more even tone. Although she is still a student, she is very professional and quite gentle when performing facials and procedures. I have witnessed Mrs. Crystal and Mr. Julio provide great tips to their students, and for the client, they ensure you are being treated well, and procedures are done correctly. Mr. Julio is so friendly and funny! Highly recommend getting your facials and waxing at the University of Aesthetics & Cosmetology.
