April 16 2022. They aren't open! Unsure why! Stayed there before and it was decent place with decent rates. Hope they'll open again! Update to reply: And the person whom I spoke with could have been more helpful by offering more info, that you are seasonable, now! Is that not what a professional- who relies on customers, does?? You should have given correct information. Instead of a quick, and *vague* "We're Closed!!" I grew up around the are and never known it to be seasonable before. Whoever I spoke to when I called seemed like they didn't want to be bothered! And that they're closed! Misleading me to post this review!! Those stars and that comment, were very generous of me, considering...! Let me update my comment. This place was known as the party spot, for as long as I've known. By decent-- I mean it 'seems' safe enough to sleep at... And decent prices meaning lower rates than the other motels around 🤔 Was hoping for this motel to open-after being mislead and not given correct info initially. And thinking they're closed down. Here's a tip: In the future, It truly matters how you speak to people. Especially potential customers. ✌

I would have given it five stars but, I pay the same amount of money and I have to stand outside to smoke a cigarette in the rain or the snow. Otherwise the young lady at front was quite nice and the room was a little small but pretty nice.

It was clean. The room was small, had 2 double beds and a very tiny bathroom. The TV did not work. Although, we were looking a comfortable place to sleep and this suited us just fine.

The room was very clean (even under the bed!), which during a pandemic is extra important. The price seemed a little high compared to other budget motels we've stayed in though perhaps thats bc of its proximity to Saratoga Springs. The toilet cubby is quite small which wasnt a problem for us but if you're a broad person, you may have difficulty. It was overall quiet and peaceful though I suspect thats largely due to the neighbors we happened to have as well as it being off-season. There is a train nearby and noises seem to get amplified by those doors every hotel/motel seems to use (solid core doors would be far better for hospitality imo). Even on the back, the window treatments were not sufficient for blocking light (and there was a space that could be peeked through from the outside) so we threw a lap blanket over it that we had in the car which solved both problems beautifully. I felt safe here and really liked the setting; there's plenty of trees and lawn space to enjoy while sitting in one of the doorside chairs drinking some coffee conveniently obtained from the Stewarts shop nearby.
