Fantastic service! Answered all my questions clearly and patiently. Deep cleaned my console, replaced the worn out hard drive, and polished up my heat sink and added better thermal paste. Reasonable and fair prices, bit of a wait (2 weeks), but well worth it! Highly recommended for regular service to maintain and repair precision equipment.

Need to get a PlayStation 3 repaired they brought me right in to cure my system and was fun to visit. They have amazing games and some of the old school stuff that I really like
Sasha Solita
The only legitimate place to go in the entire Salt Lake valley for anything related to video games. They know what’s up.

I've been here multiple times for handheld console repairs and once to buy an xbox, this place is honestly awesome. Great customer service, great repairs, and some absolute steals for games and consoles.

I think so. Depends on the problem
They offered to fix my da lite so I'd say it depends on what's wrong with it but no you dont just call and explain the issue to them
That information may be on their website or call the location directly
Some models of GameCube actually come from the factory with digital output. In the past, we have modded some of those systems to have HDMI output instead, but we didn't actually put the digital out port in there. That was Nintendo that did that.
Sadly, we don't have any experience with blu-ray player modding. If I'm not mistaken, it often involves flashing drive firmware, which we aren't set up to do.
Contact game Changers they will give you a price
I'm sorry, we don't. Cockroaches put our staff and other customers' consoles at risk, so we have to turn away anything that has them :(
I'm sorry to say we have a firm policy when it comes to roaches. Even if you kill them all in advance, we won't be able to take it in, as it could put our staff and other customers' consoles at risk. I'm sorry :(
They do console repairs you should bring it in.
Yes and no it all depends on the power supply on the Xbox it's self
Totally! That's usually caused by a dead hard drive. We do 500GB drives for $69, 1TB drives for $89, and 2TB drives for $119. Definitely bring it in so we can run a free test on your drive :)
9/10 times they will. They would tell a rough amount on how much it will cost you.
As far as cost to repair, I have no idea. But you could try the reset button on the back of your controller (it's a tiny black hole near the L2 button. Press and hold it for 5 to 8 second with a paper clip). Also try leaving it on the charger for a few hours.
You will have to take it in so they can assess the issue. They are very good at repairs.
To add onto the other answer, there is a large waiting period for console repairs at the SLC location (which is the only Game Changerz that is still in business currently). Last time I was at the SLC location, which was about 2 weeks ago, I overheard it was gonna take them 6 weeks for a repair on a PS2 someone had brought in. Waiting times may have changed since then but call ahead just to be sure.
Depending on the state it's currently in, we might be able to quickly put it back together for you without having to put it in the line. But if it's torn down far enough, we might have to check it into the line. We'd be happy to take a look and let you know :)
We don't require appointments, but we do require a mask, encourage social distancing, and limit the store to 10 customers at a time. There is a possibility you might be asked to wait outside for a bit if the store is at capacity, but there's no need to set up a time in advance.
They repair any console.
They do, BUT a huge line of people are ahead of you which makes the wait for getting it repaired months last I heard. A lot of the PS2 systems lasers are all failing because its been that long since they were manufactured. Call ahead for best/most recent information. They are very nice, just understaffed for trained/qualified repair techs to meet the current influx of PS2 game systems. In order to trade or sell them a system I think it needs to be in full working order, but call for the most up-to-date changes. Hope that helps.
Water damage is usually not repairable, but we'd be happy to take a look at it if you'd like. We'd need to take a look at it before we could say for sure and quote you a price.
We usually charge $99 for the entire job (including full disassembly, reassembly, and a 90 day warranty) but if you have the board out already, we'd recommend bringing in just the board so we can take a look. The hardest part of the repair is actually removing the old port without damaging the board, so we'd like to take a look at how it's looking after your attempt and make sure the board is in good shape before we quote you a price. If it's fixable, we could do it for substantially less than usual, but because of the previous work, we might not be able to warranty it.
We do mainboard repair, but we have a bit of a line right now. Liquid damage usually needs to be taken care of as fast as possible, so we'd recommend this time around calling our friends over at Numbskull games and repair up in Roy. They should be able to get to your system a lot faster than we can right now.
Yes they do! I believe its 5 per CD and 20 for 5 CD's
Depends what's wrong with it. But they do a diagnosis b4 moving on to repairs.
It depends on the problem. If you bring it in to them they'll be able to give you a ballpark estimate
It depends on the model of PS4, but most of the time, the fans themselves don't go out. If you're lucky, you might just need the $39 deep clean and thermal compound replacement. For any questions on pricing, you can also check out our website at precisiongadgetrepair.com
they do repair ps4 controllers
We've got a lot of psp games and movies, but no memory sticks at the moment.
Depends on the model and the gba's wear and tear. Best bet is to call and ask.
They usually have prices posted up for fairly common things on their site. If you can't find it they can tell you over the phone. They have always been super affordable, fast, and do quality work.
I completely agree with that they do I shop there normally and my brother has gotten his fixed slot they are epic people and have deals a lot so check them out frequently if you love to game you may just land one hell of a score
Sadly, we do not offer Jailbreaking services at our store. While jailbreaking itself is perfectly legal, it is often used for piracy, which is illegal. Because we don't want to risk being held liable for how someone uses a switch that we've jailbroken, we have decided not to offer that as a service. There are youtube tutorials as well as a few websites (and a discord channel) that might be able to help you on the right path.
That would depend on the condition of the console and the games, and probably how many they have in stock at the time. I would recommend you give them a call, or just drop by and see. Good luck
They do repair 3ds consoles. It does depend on what the issue is. Give them a call. The staff is absolutely fantastic.
Yes. And cheaper with better results that the local competition.
I'm sure they do but I would call them and ask. Or go to their facebook page and message them.
Like everyone said take it to game changerz
That would be a question to call them directly and ask
I have seen 2DS consoles there, and they are usually quite inexpensive
