This place is amazing! I was worried my son wouldn't be interested when he found out it isn't the kind of park with a playground, but he loved it! We searched for hidden caverns for an hour and had so much fun!

Great place to hike around in the beautiful red sand stone. Easy to moderate hikes. Great views of St George. Picnic and day camp areas.

There is gravel parking. My advise is to get there in enough time to park. I did see F10 with trailer hitches. And Rv
En hurricane.. sand hollow..
No. It's free and with parking, bathroom, BBQ grill and table/seat under shade. Nice little park.
My dogs hike in there with us on leash and off leash when we are hiking away from the rocks all the people etc. If you want to take them off leash there is plenty of land there that is accessible and never crowded keep a close eye on little dogs tho there is predators in the sky, like copperhawks
There isn't a playground nearby. Pioneer park is an area filled with sandstone rock formations and a couple of parking lots so you can explore the area. It also has bathroom facilities, a gazebo, and carved steps to stand on Dixie Rock.
Only biking wouldn't worth it, as you would be carrying bike part of way or adjusting your course once you get to edge of animal preserve
Yes, but I'm not sure if you need permission first or not. But I have seen groups of people there with a fire going.
