The Doctors and staff are very caring and concerned with the health of my cat. They listen to my concerns and offer great advice. Our first visit was rough because my cat was scared to death, this was our second visit, and things went much better. Even though they needed to pull out the gloves, cat and staff remained fairly calm. We're glad we come to Just Cats for our annual visits!

Dr. David Bolotin is the best veterinarian on the planet. He cares about the "patient" (cat) and "parent" (owner). He is truly called to this profession. He's a fine veterinarian and a prince of a man.

I don't understand how this question is specific to this particular vet. But I've been using this vet for years, and I think they're great.
Hi Dawn, Thank you for such a great question. I had to think about this one, do a little research, as well as talk to one of our vets. I now feel confident that I am prepared to answer. The short answer is "they don't really" because in MOST cases the wipes don't hold enough moisture to penetrate the layers of the cats coat. Keep in mind that a cats coat is comprised of three different layers that has the sole purpose of protecting the cats skin from it's environment. The best way around this would be to use a like waterless shampoo, we usually recommend Earth Bath Green Tea Waterless Foaming Shampoo. They also make a wipe and I have some success removing dandruff at the base of some kitties tails, but the foaming shampoo penetrates much better. Lastly, we use Dermoscent topical solution as more aggressive way to moisturize a cat. Hope this was helpful! Be well!
