I just want to share my gratitude for Switchpoint. I was never a resident however they allowed us to start a Narcotics Anonymous meeting there which helps me feel purpose in my life knowing that I get to contribute back to society by helping others. If you know anyone who needs recovery from addiction we meet every Thursday in the community room at switchpoint at 7:30 pm. It is in the front of the building, 1st floor. We had picnic function there last weekend and it was such a blessing to cook and feed so many people and then carry the message of recovery there. Thank you Switchpoint for giving us NA members the opportunity to serve by allowing us to have a meeting there. We are truly grateful and excited to see our higher power work in many lives. Ps: Because I see first hand what switch Point is doing to help others I make it a personal priority to bring my donations to thier thrift stores. They are in the business of truly helping others!

This amazing organization helps our community with homeless folks, a food pantry, addiction resources, 3 thrift stores & lots of volunteer positions. We all admire the founder, Carol Hollowell!!

Hey Y'all, if you haven't discovered the magical thrifting experience of the Switchpoint thrift stores, you're missing out on a fun treasure hunt. Great staff, excellent pricing, and the inventory constantly updating. Found a gorgeous black dress for my daughter to perform in for orchestra. ALSO, a shout out to the Switchpoint small engine repair shop. Great pricing, super honest and thorough. They went the extra mile on my John Deere ride-on mower. They even got creative and fixed my seat up so that it looks new. So glad they could resurrect my awesome mower. THanks a million to a well organized staff that gives so much to the community! I LOVE donating to them as well!

Incompetence, negligence, neglect, and abuse, discrimination, mal pheasants, stitching....must be shut down due to behavior issues of the UTMOST DISRESPECT, LIES, DICETE, AND POLITAL INJUSTICE OF STAFF BLATENTLY HARRASSING, INTERFEARING, SCRUTINIZING, INSTIGATION, TAUNTING, AND HURTING THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE. Crustal, Patty, Dacon, Rabecca, Cody Sanders, and other negligent employees are directly responsible for Matthew Jay Hansells difference of his RIGHT to housing, higene, nutrition, safety, clothing, health problems, and severe difference at others expense throughout the entire Saint George Community and beyond which includes NY, Chicago, LA, and other parts of the World Pandemic population. Abolition!!! I was mistreated, lied to, and abused by the Switchpoint staff. This for profits company is receiving huge lump some monies donated by many mostly Mormon contributors, and not spending the proceeds for the helpful uses they claim to offer. The organization is a scam, and outrageous cheat π to those in desperate need of homelessness, and the repercussions there of. The facility is constantly filthy, germ infested, a breading ground for sicknesses, disease, COVID-19, and other contagious illnesses. The grounds as well as the front intake office, and dorm rooms have bed bugs, πͺ° Flys, roaches, and rodents. The a/c barely works. Most of the washer, and dryers in the laundry room are broken, and have been for years. Garbage and cigarette buts are strewn everywhere. Most of the residents are not only homeless, but criminals with a record, junkies, and codependent. After being threatened by another resident of my life, I was outed from the property, and denied; food, housing, higene, and respect. Instead, the staff allowed the felon who threatened me to stay. This a result of the ironic mistreatment that Switchpoint has become famous for, as a dumping ground, and disgrace to the city of St. George. Shut them down, and build something beneficial please. Thanks, but no thanks...

Yes! We love household items including dishes, towels, soap, detergent ect for the shelter.
6 am for breakfast and 5 pm for dinner
Yes if legally married and a family room is available
You can call them and ask to volunteer. The food bank there as well as the thrift store can always use volunteers.
Just remember you also are part of your own recovery. Stay positive and reach out. Don't forget....For Every Dark Day, Is A Brighter Tomorrow. Good Luck
I do not know of there is a need for this Sharon, but,I will ask the staff and let you know.
What kind of meetings are you interested in?
I believe that they do the very best to include it yearly with the items donated. However, i am more than certain yearly and normally on a daily basis; donations are very much appreciated and allow for even their basic of needs helped. So please if able, donate. Sincerely blessed youll be. thanks for the question, Melodie Askey π
Yeah they give out vouchers at switch point for clothes at there thrift store
Emotional Support animals do not fall under the AMA definition of service animals. If the animals are legitimately service animals then they are allowed in shelter. If not Switchpoint has an affiliate org called Bed & Biscuits that could board your animals while you are in the shelter.
Just like California?
Not that I was aware of when I went there.
I don't believe they do... They will help with food, housing you, finding a job and I'm pretty sure they will help you with utilities! But, every situation is different? They are good not to judge or categorize you which was helpful for me. I would definitely talk to someone there! Good luck!
Anytime is great.
Switchpoint only allows ADA service animals in shelter, they have a limited number of outdoor kennels for resident use for non service animals, provided you have shot records for your animals
Call them, they will help. Call switchpoint, in St George UT
I think they could use more gluten free and things for other special diets.
Proof of adress, like the power bill in your name, or maybe another piece of mail, rental agreement if you have it or a letter from your roomate signed, thats all
If you have any income that you get monthly, yearly, quarterly weekly, it don't matter; provide that documentation. If you have no income; you provide information that you have zero income. They will verify and it's not a big deal. Submit the information pertaining to income. For example : provide child support documentation, ORS documentation, welfare- Workforce Services, alimony & any earned income. Hope this helps. Melodie
