Friendly people but it's too hard to get in contact with anybody.. went through over an hour of automated menus because they don't have an option to just talk to a human being.

You will want to stay on unemployment, but state how much you earn, when you earn it. You will still need to maintain the applying/interviewing processes required, as they want you to find steady employment.
They have forms for that there for you to fill out
They have resources to assist you with all of these, if not directly in the office online or referral for outsourcing agencies. Offering Free public access to computer and other office equipment.
DWS is typically open Monday-Friday, 8-5. They are closed on holidays including MLK.
