Such an amazing beach! ππ Water is very clear, sand is white as flour and there are practically no waves. Entrance is $6 (cards accepted) per vehicle with ample parking lots within walking distance to the beach. Restrooms are very clean

What a beautiful spot to beach swim and sunbathe at.. the area was beautiful..more secluded..and the sand was like soft white powdery. Like being in the Caribbean..I was quite impressed... yes I love shelling but I have my favorite spits for that..here was so easy on the feet..not crowded. ..and the walk from the parking lot to the beach was about a 2minute walk.. places under the trees to grill (grills there already) the water was so clear and calm..you could see the little yellow fish all around your feet. And no they don't bite or hurt..I went to the 4th turn off..I highly recommend if you like it quiet and less crowded .keep in mind if your not three early you will not get in ..they close the gate..as well the cost is less only $4 bucks for a day to park and less if your driving alone..

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is beautiful! The park has beautiful beaches, has nice boardwalks, clean restrooms. When we first entered the park we were a bit skeptical because you come over the bridge and there are giant condo complexes everywhere. The state of Florida managed to claim a very nice beach area and once you get out there you are surprised at how nice it is.

If you want to have the experience of a state park and the beach this is the place. To find parking spots it's important to get there before 11am. You'll have to pay a day rate (only $6). You also have places were you can grill out (you just need to bring the charcoal) The beach is not crowded, it's clean and the water is super flat (perfect for kids) It also has beautiful shells. Perfect place to spend a whole day.

When you say dog friendly but not on the beach...what do you mean? Not in the water but yes on the sand??
The kayaks are in Lot 4, I think it was $30 for one hour, and maybe $55 for two hours. The rental comes with a paddle and life jacket.
Great shelling...found a huge welk shell up at the pass last week. Check out Southwest Florida television on Facebook. He does beach walks all the time from there.
Daytrips with an RV would only be recommended for smaller RV. (B or C) Parking and the turns in and out are very tight for anything but the smallest class A
All fixed. Beautiful beach and facilities
Pay at gate before entering. Can drop off guests to Vanderbilt Beach entrance outside the park
Yes! But you should probably sleep there tonight to get a grill.
There are 5 parking lots and each one has bathrooms with running water and outdoor showers.
Yes but only in the BBQ area on a leash, but not on the beach
It might be nice if you wear a mask when paying the guard to enter the park but otherwise I didnt wear one. And I saw three different officers / rangers and none said anything to me.
That is true the park takes extra care with the white sugar sand so we can all squish our tootsies in the beautiful sand an enjoy the sun an blue waters lappingvat the shore. Just like a dream come true β€ β€ π w e have flown kites here too. Love this park an beach so many happy times. Come an make your own. ππ΄ πππ£π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ π°π ππ΄πππππ€π¦π’π π π΄ π π
Water warm and amazing gentle waves and its clean
I didn't see any you could walk along way on the beach the gulf of Mexico. Not to say that they don't have trials just never seen them
Yes by the boat ramp. Get there at 8am.
Hey Irma, it is located at 11135 Gulf Shore Dr, Naples, FL 34108 . They are open from 8 am until sunset
Or buy an annual state park pass good at all FL state parks.
I've read you can let them swim where the canoes and boats are launched BUT they have to stay on leash the whole time, so you'll have to swim with them.
I was there 2 weeks ago and there was no red tide. However that was before loads of rain with eh Catagory 1 hurricane
It was up this weekend also, anytime the water might be choppy its up.
I recommend calling to be sure or visit the website listed below https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/delnor-wiggins-pass-state-park/experiences-amenities-0
No, first come first serve. Now they do have a covered party area in parking lot 5 that does require reservation
Yes, you can i don't see any restrictions. And saw π a few dog's. Need to be with dog leash.
No. I'm there 3 times a week and I wouldn't go if you had too
All beaches in collier County are closed this weekend.
So far open, but limitations. Cloaed from 11A-5P & have to have Collier parking pass. This will hopefully curb all of those flocking from the east coast.
No, they charge for walking in or riding a bike. $2 charge. $4 for a car with one occupant, and $6 for a car with 2-6 passengers
You can take your dog everywhere in the park BUT the beach. No dogs allowed on beach, but they allow them in the beach side picnic areas!
It could be, according to the size of wedding party. The actual BEACH is not very wide from the tree line or dune out to the water., Say 25 yards.. more at low tide, but a little steep drop.. The park closes at sundown. It would be a big chore with gear etc.. but Lovers Key State Park about 25 miles north has 50yards if Beach and three miles long.. closed at Sundown. Romantic though.. Could honeymoon over at Coconut Creek Hyatt... Vanderbilt Beach may be a good choice and the Waldorf Astoria.. Just two miles south of Delnor-Wiggins.. Delnor-Wiggins has picnic tables and restrooms and outside showers.. beautiful place..sea grapes.. .. I have a Florida State Park Annual pass and visit Delnor-Wiggins often.
Yes
Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is dog-friendly! Well-behaved pets are welcome to explore the park on a six-foot, hand-held leash. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches and owners must bring bags to clean up after their pets. Source: https://www.bringfido.com/attraction/15897
They close at sundown.
Need to call them perhaps. Have funπ
They only have a concession stand. No restaurant
About 45 minutes from Delnor Wiggins.
There are other beaches that do allow although. Lovers Key has a beach that is designated as a dog beach.
Yes
You should be able to as we purchase our annual pass with credit card
My husband said he could only see about 2 feet on Monday....
Purchase a fishing license online or at walmart or bass pro or closer to there would be masterbait and tackle and then salt water or freshwater and pick a place on public land ,parks close at dusk usually
You can pull your boat to shore in the channel but not on the actual beach.
Yes it is, Dogs must be on a leash and not loose, the dogs should not be in the water. Many people have taken their dogs here. Just be sure the dog is always by yourside.
Camper trailers can park at the boat ramp.
I didn't see any rocks/platform to take pictures at least on the first 4 areas
There are no bike trails
I dont think nobody care as longer nobody is swimming in the area
Yes it's fine, you can take your own bbq
Agree.. I will say that my husband and I did notice we were coughing a bit....not sure. The air quality wasn't ideal in the beach. Once I went into water it was better.
There a public entrance on the side of the bathroom u have to park and a public parking across the bridge and walk to the beach
The park was full
The park is open from 8 a.m. to Sundown 365 days a year
It is for the day and not per person. You can go in and leave as many times as you want as long ad you kerp tge receipt. Great place to relax snd swim as long as the red tide isnt around.
Not a whole lot of shells. Probably more in the morning, mostly sandy though.
I feel like it never ends. I work weekends on the beach and RT has been sporadic, but bad as recently as Sunday night. The park has a sign out front that updates regularly to warn people how bad it is.
They kick everyone out after sunset unless you have paid for the overnight fishing sticker for your car. Bring serious bug repellent if you go for sunset.
No for Collier county beaches, Lee county beaches, dogs are allowed on a leash.
Actually... At Lot #4, umbrellas and chairs are available to rent from the concessions, as well as paddle boards, kayaks, ect. Not sure on pricing though.
$6 parking fee for small vehicles. Vans, busses, and Rvs are more
Naples online news just said tonight that red tide is moving south to Collier county and to the keys
Yes, I heard and read that is symptom of red tide. Thanks for the information.
Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a day park with a variety of options for activities. There is no camping at this park. It also lists on their website that they are dog friendly!
I didn't see any place to buy bait in the park. I see a lot of fisherman getting sand flees. You obviously need the proper tool to get them in the sand flees from the water/sand.
Unfortunately not
I'm not sure. We went to lot 4. There wasn't a sign that any were closed. As far as I could tell, the whole area is now opened.
Looks good to snorkel anywhere but talk to a local.dive shop as I doubt there is much to see. Wave action especially with the jet skis and a couple of power boats makes it uncomfortable west side in the Gulf. Bring a floating snorkel diver down flag for safety
Clear water, mostly. A bit of a sulfur smell in the air from Irma debris.
Yes
Safe, yes
Go to Southwest Florida television on facebook. Posted a beachwalk yesterday ..it's definitely different.
Yes, and they are strategically-placed throughout the grill areas along the beautiful beach.
It says lot 5 restrooms is closed but it's the restroom between four and five the one on the north side of lot 5 is open
