Nice park. Great dog park. Love the fact it connects to the Sangamon Valley Trail. "Johnny-on-the-Spot" could have been a lot cleaner, but glad there was one available.

It's only a few hundred yards from the big parking lot. If you have healthy legs it might not seem far but it can be a big distance to travel in a wheelchair or crutches. Because the parking lot by the dog park is small the priority should be maintained for those with the most difficulty in locomotion.
Must pick up after dog. There are bags available. Restrain dog if aggressive. Dog can remain leashed. Make sure 1st gate is closed before opening 2nd gate so dogs that come to greet you don't get out.
