I was there 2 weeks ago and there was no red tide. However that was before loads of rain with eh Catagory 1 hurricane
Yes there is a boat launch site
There wasn't red tide when we were there. However, there are fishing restrictions because of a severe red tide a couple of years ago. I don't know the answer to your kayak launch question.
