They took a while but it was only because they had such high traffic and need more support, probably because it was effective and wallet friendly 10/10

Despite doing a gazillion surgeries a day, they really went above and beyond when I got my dog spayed.

They're an Awesome place..goood people..they do great work..we rescue & was looking to get 7 kittens spayed/neutered but the length of time for an appointment was too far down the road.

I left a message and got a call back by the next day.
You should try calling on a Thursday maybe
You can try Faithful Forgotten Friends they're out of Holy Family Church behind the church on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. Also SOS is very reasonable for spaying/neutering.
Yes, I would call them.
U can get rabies shot first.call them they will help you better
SOS does not have the resources to treat for parvo. You would have to go to a full-service vet.
They're a vets office not an animal rescue.
No They're Open Door is Only On Wednesday But Tuesday Thursday and Friday Are Only For Spay and Neuter Only.. They're A Great Vet Clinic and Have a Low Fee For Spay and Neuter For Your Cat's and Dog's..
Depending on size, weight. No more than $70.00. Just had male kitten done, $62.00 total that's with rabie vaccine & tag for one year. Mine had no worms, ear mites or fleas. Additional $5.00 if need to treat for those 3 each.
No not free. There's a program at the humane society called snip it, it's free. Call them
SOS does it good & cheap. Under $100.00 With rabie shot & flea med
I would suggest reaching out to Cat Welfare, Franklin County Animal Shelter &/or Colony Cats. I wish you the best of luck & a speedy recovery for your cat!
I think it's between $45-$55.. they are very reasonable
I think they are specifically for getting your pet spayed and neutered. However i woukd just call Monday and ask. We have used Rascal Animal Hospital for a stray cat that was injured and it was about a 3rd of the cost of going to OSU. They dont offer financial aid but do accept vouchers. You can get the vouchers from like places like the humane society... I think thwy might also accept PRC payments but not positive.
They are much lower than most places...not totally sure of pricing but they are fantastic!
You need to call they are good at getting you in with in a month
Yes they do
Hit option 3 and it will direct you to the appointment line.
I pretty sure you have to wait till the specified pick up window which is 330 to 530 I think because your dog will need supervised recovery time after procedure to make sure they wake up ok. I would ask when you drop your pet off what's the earliest you can come or if they can call as soon as you can come
You could also check with Cat Welfare on Wetmore or Cat Colony as they might be able to recommend someone.
I'm on SSDI and I get a voucher from cat welfare for 20 dollars per cat to spay or neuter.
No they don't and most vets do not declaw cats now because it is cruel. If you're not prepared to have pets with their body parts intact, then you should not adopt them. Declawing a cat is not only painful because it involves cutting off part of their digits, it could alter the cat's personality after that.
Female dogs 1-64 pounds are $95. 65-85 pounds are $115. Greater than 85 pounds $135. Tail trims are done on all dogs during recovery and it doesn't cost extra. If your dog doesn't have a rabies shot it will be an additional $7. If she does have a current rabies vaccine you will need to bring the rabies certificate at the time of surgery (they won't accept the tag as proof) otherwise she will be given a rabies vaccine as it is required by law. Their only location is on E Livingston Avenue.
The spay for female dogs under 65 pounds is $95, the neuter for male dogs under 65 pounds is $85. There is a $20 fee for dogs between 65 and 85 pounds, and a $40 fee for dogs over 85 pounds. All dogs are sent home after surgery with pain medication, which is $10. If you do not provide current proof-of-rabies-vaccination papers for them at check-in, we are required to administer a rabies vaccine for $7. Any animals with live fleas and/or lice will also be charged a $5 fee for treatment.
Most legitimate cat rescues and adoption agencies charge an adoption fee to help provide quality care for their cats and keep their operations funded, so I'm not sure where you would find a cat for free. But in terms of rescues that would have cats looking for their forever homes, you could contact Columbus Humane, Colony Cats, the Cat Welfare Association, Columbus Pet Rescue, or look into other rescues in your area.
The box will be fine until they get bigger
We will be at 3500 E Livingston Ave Columbus OH 43207 starting March 2, 2020.
We can administer dog vaccines any Wednesday when we take walk-ins from 9am until 3pm. The exam is $15, the rabies vaccine is $7, the Canine Distemper vaccine is $10 and the Kennel Cough vaccine is $10. All of our vaccines are good for one year. Dog tags and licensing are only available through the county, but once your dog is up-to-date on vaccines, you can pursue that license with them.
Unfortunately, no, we do not accept Care Credit as payment.
There are many different things that could be causing your cat's discomfort and hair loss. Unfortunately, since we are primarily a spay/neuter clinic, our ability to diagnose and treat symptoms like hers are limited. You should take her to a full-service vet.
It cost to get your dog spayed at SOS. I'm not sure how much. But if you are low income contact the Franklin County Animal Shelter. They will fix dogs for free for low income families
The dog neuter is $85, plus $10 for the pain medication and $5 for the e-collar that we would send home with him. All together, that's $100, unless he needs a rabies vaccine which is $7, or has fleas which we would treat for $5. The most you'd be looking at, without anything else is $112.
Unfortunately, we do not accept any forms of pet health insurance. We are a low-cost spay/neuter clinic that offers basic vaccines and other wellness services by walk-in appointment to the general public on Wednesdays from 9am until 3pm. Please plan to be here for several hours if you want to bring your pet(s) for a wellness Wednesday, since it is very busy. The exam itself is $15, the rabies vaccine is $7, and all of our other vaccines are $10 each.
SOS is not just neutering. Maybe they once were. They examine walk-ins every Wed.- about $15. But you can't go until next Wed, and your baby might suffer waiting. At Banfield, a commercial vet in some pet stores, the first vet visit is free. They may not be that good, but better than nothing. The visit is free, but you have to pay for meds, which is probably overpriced from them. They may make up for the free visit by DRAMATICALLY overcharging for the meds. If you go there, insist on a written prescription. Don't buy medicine from them. It is much cheaper in a drug store, and even far cheaper at a farm supply store, if available. If you need help paying for medicine, google Nature's Gifts Kitten Rescue. We will help with medicine. We rescue mostly kittens because of the tremendous need, but dogs are my true passion. My contact info is available there. I do not want to broadcast it here on Google. I am up by 6 am. Please don't call me after 9 pm. WE WILL HELP!
They most likely can but u will need to call them since they will need to isolate your pup cause its very contagious
They sell you very inexpensive flea meds, including Revolution that works nearly instantly. They buy large sizes and split them. However, you may also need to treat your house and/or yard. Google "Nature's Gifts Kitten Rescue" for help. You apply it topically. One kind kills fleas and eggs almost instantly. The other is more permanent. Don't forget to contact Nature's Gifts for help.
They told me no. I am on disability SS though. I dont get snap
$ 95.00 that includes rabie shot & tag if needed
Call them
I've only been there once for a Spade jobs but was extremely happy and going back again with all of my dogs😁

That I don't know, I have a dog. I suggest you reach out to the Franklin County Animal Shelter for details regarding the services offered at S. O. S. Also try Colony Cats & Cat Welfare.
That cat must be in a humane trap. Columbus Humane and possibly SOS lend then out. It's around $60 to get a cat neutered unless you have a voucher. You can get a voucher through cat welfare association which will make the neuter cheaper. You getvthe voucher from cat welfare through their feral cat program and then bring the cat and the voucher to sos. SOS accepts ferals in traps monday-friday 7:30am-12 (excluding wednesdays). You will drop it off, it will be fixed and get a rabies vaccine and any other special requests you have (flea meds, etc) and the you'll pick it back up that evening. Keep it in a bathroom IN ITS trap overnight to recover from surgery and then release next day. I slip food mixed with water in the trap during it's recovery so it doesn't get dehydrated.
Call a vet and the can put it to sleep so it doesn't suffer!💔😪
Contact cat welfare for voucher to have fixed free
It depends on exactly what the underlying cause of her problems is. We would be happy to take a look at for her and at least get you started in the diagnostic process. We have walk in wednesdays from 9am-3pm. The exam fee would be $15, without knowing exactly what else she might need I can't provide you with any other estimates but we will quote you before doing anything beyond the exam.
Go to SOS and have them do e as ferrels
Not sure you need to call!
Depends on the day. 7:30-8
I go to doctor that comes to my home. For spray and neutring. They do a great job. Maybe they can refer you to another doctor. Good-Luck
With an appointment, drop off is from 7:30 am - 8:30 am. For feral cats (cats in humane traps that will be receiving ear tips) drop off is from 7:30 am- noon.
We have no breed restrictions!
They go based on income.
95 spay 85 nueter
I haven't heard about them going by income. However, they do discount stray cats. I cannot remember the price because I have dogs, but it is under $100.
No but they do offer a discount and price varies with age, the younger, the cheaper.
They go by your income if low income you get cheaper if not low income it cost more you would have to go in and talk to them and they will tell you how much it was 85$ for dog spay if over 85 lbs it's 20$ more, cat spay is 55$ my income is 750$ a month they spayed my dog plus gave her 2 shots and the e collar for 30$ I have chihuahua dog
I'm so sorry to hear that. I have many cats and not a whole lot of money....I've called different places such as vet clinics, animal hospitals and sometimes they can help or refer you to someone who can help...maybe go to the Petfbi Facebook page and make a post and see if people might be able to help in some way... I've been helped through Cat welfare,The Black and Orange Cat Foundation because I have cats... that's what I can suggest. Praying you find help!♡
Go in and talk to them if need be. Ive had that problem and found out later their phones were down
Their primary job is spaying and neutering. You might want to try OSU veterinary or a local vet.
They do shots but I don't know if you have to get animal spayed or neutered to get shots I had my dog spayed there and they gave her two shots then she had rabies shot and other shot they gave her one year rabies shot they go on your income if low income cheap I got my dog spayed and shots and e collar and pain meds on my income for 30$ on ssi
U can call them?
Just give them a call.they will help you. They are closed tomorrow.
Cats cycle year round. It will take about a month for an appointment by then the weather should be better.
75$ for neuter they go on your income if your on low income cheaper I am on ssi I got my dog spayed and 2 shots and e collar for 30$ all together
$55 for the spay. Extra $10 if pregnant. +$10 for take-home pain meds. +$5 for e-collar. Procedure is same-day, drop off in morning and pick up in late afternoon.
Sos/cat welfare has a great feral program. Count how many feral cats you have that can be fixed. Call cat welfare to get a voucher to have them fixed. You'll pay 10$ for the voucher then 10$ per cat to SOS for the cats to be fixed they will charge an extra 5$ if the animals have live fleas on them. And another 15$ if the cat is pregnant/nursing.
Yes! They offer the lowest cost spay/neuter in the area. You can call for pricing ahead of time so there are no surprises
I paid 100 for my male jack Russell to be neutered.
I found a coupon at pet smart website for a free exam. We were told they only do fixes and if they find anything during the spay or neuter
I would like to know also
