1 mile from parking lot to stunning views. Trail is easy to start then gets harder in the rocks/boulders. We did it with our kids just be ready for uneven terrian. Stunning views all around and worth the trek in. Take the Hidden Pinyon trail back to car for a fun adventure( and shade).

One of my favourite places on the trip, Snow Canyon St George Utah. Unbelievable. We didn’t have to worry about parking at all, given the time travelled. Kids back in school. Bathrooms along the way were very clean. Walking along these petrified sand dunes reminded us of “mashed potatoes”. Just a really gorgeous area.

Great stop just a few miles from St George. We were worried that it would be crowded because of the crowding at nearby Zion National Park but it was not at all. We went in the evening when the temperatures were not quite as brutal. It's August so daytime temps are in the hundreds. We did Petrified Dunes, Hidden Pinyon and Jenny's Canyon hikes all in about 3 hours. We could have spent more time but it started getting dark. Impressive scenery and short, relatively easy hikes made this a favorite stop. Petrified Dunes was amazing but Jenny's Canyon was a little slot canyon just off of the road that was also interesting. I highly recommend this park for families with kids. Hikes are short but easy enough for most with interesting and beautiful scenery., Loved it!!

Beautiful. Perfect for kids. Short length, cool rocks to climb on, gorgeous view at the end.
