Such a one of a kind sight, definitely worth a stop. Make sure you have cash to pay to get in. Cathedral Gorge is a wonder, you can walk into the deep passages inside of the intricate spires. It's much cooler in these passageways . There are restrooms available and covered tables. You can also camp in the campground there as well.

It's the best lesser known place to experience slot canyons! My 4yr old daughter loved the "caves" in the slot canyons! Her and her cousins had a blast exploring! I've gone here 5 or 6 times over the past 15 years and loved it every time!

Such a cool place!! Several fantastic hiking trails for both the more adventurous and for those that don’t want to get too far from the car. Plenty for everyone to see.

What a cool and calm experience. Drove up from Vegas to see the gorge and hike from Miller Point. I found it to be incredibly unique but somewhat comparable to Bryce Canyon on a much smaller scale. The slots where the highlight as I’d never experienced anything like them. I must note that the park entrance fee can now be made via credit or debit card.

Yes. The earlier in the day you arrive the better chance you have of finding a site.
Cold nights around freezing. Warm days in the 60s. Mostly sunny.
Yes, leased dogs are permitted at all State Parks other than Sand Harbor.
$15 a night.....$5 entrance fee to the Park. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Gas prices near Cathedral Gorge were lower than Reno. If you use Google maps they will show you the gas station locations and the current prices. There is a Shell gas station about a mile from Cathedral Gorge. The weather was absolutely beautiful last week when we were there.
I would also suggest Miller's Point! Beautiful place and it's not normally very crowded.
Hot and dry during the day and semi cold at night
Kind of hot during the day in their 90s but definitely cool at night around 50 or 60 something
There is electricity only. There is a dump station and potable water, restrooms and showers. My trailer is 36'. There are a few pull through. Just staying one night. Nice park.
No reservations required.
According to the website as of 3/17, the visitor center is closed. So the park is open
11am....
Spring and summer holidays will be more busy. Enjoy the park! It's gorgeous!
It has electric hookups in most camp spots, water is available but not for each site and a nice clean restroom and shower facility. A sanitary waste dump on the way out.
