There is not tubing at southington, southington only has ski lifts meant for skiing and snowboarding. If you want to go tubing I would recommend going to powder ridge.

No tubing currently. I believe they did many years ago. Mount Southington now is downhill skiing and snowboarding. For tubing, look into Woodbury, CT.

They have a cafeteria at the base of the mountain that serves Burgers, fries, beer etc. They also have the lil waffle haus.

Mt Southington is only for skiing and snowboarding. Powder Ridge in Middlefield has tubing, though.

They do have classes and rentals. The instructors are very good. Both my 6 and 4 uear olds wer on the xhairlift after barely 3 hours of lessons. Website has all the info.

No there is not..wish there was but its a great place to start the kids on skis or a board. My kids started at 4 or 5 now there 11 and 12

Anywhere from $90-120 for the rental, lesson and a 2 or 4 hour pass not including if you decide to tip the instructor. The instructors are pretty good with kids as most of them are teenagers or young adults.

My son works there and they were told that the plan was to open next Saturday. Again, it needs to be cold enough for them to make snow and for it not to melt. I would say that if you want it to be better skiing or snowboarding then I would wait until it snows a bit.
