The haters can hate, but N* will always be my home mountain. If you're sleeping in and missing the good parking then go slum it with the Palisades crowds. But the early bird catches the worm here. Head straight over to the backside for some vert or warm up on the East side Rendezvous laps. Avoid the crowds with the fun traverse over to Lookout Mountain or get an assist from the T-bar. There you can enjoy some tree runs, moguls, or fast steep groomers. The village has some good spots to eat and quick and easy access to cocktails around the ice rink. You can get any last minute gear you need at one of the shops too.

I wish I knew. We were at South Lake Tahoe and had planned to ski Heavenly. It was closed due to high winds. So the second day if it was closed again we planned to ski North star, which was over an hour away. Fortunately, the Heavenly gondola was open the next day, so we skied Heavenly. Sorry I can't help. BUT, Heavenly has a magic carpet, and we put it to good use!
Guests of the resort park in an underground parking area and am sure you won't be able to utilize it. I would call the resort and ask where you could park an RV, as I did see a few parked outdoors in their lot.
The bus is limited to half capacity, which will strictly enforce. So, on peak hours. Fri, Say and Sun, holidays between 8 to 10am, like the line for the bus will be very long. If it is a powder day, you could easily stand more than half hour just waiting for the bus. Paid parking $20 on weekdays and $40 weekends that within waking distance to the lifts. Those also go out very quickly in busy days. So to avoid frustrations just go there as early as you can. First chair 8:30am.

If it's in winter, I would suggest SUV with 4wd but other than that, any rental car would be best. Any kind of taxi or uber would probably be expensive, plus you will want a vehicle to explore in! Lake Tahoe is beautiful and its huge!
