My husband and I visited the lodge for our anniversary dinner. Michael was an amazing waiter, assuring all of our needs were met. The food was the best we ate during our visit to Truckee. I ordered the pasta, savoring every perfect bite. My husband ordered the pork chop and said it was one of the best he's ever eaten. The only suggestions I have would be to add nuts to their charcuterie plates and refine the oatmeal topping on their strawberry/rhubarb crumble so it was an actual crumble and not just oatmeal. Other than those two things, a wonderful experience!
