Getting so bad that you’ll be begging for snowboarders to fill your empty pockets
Erin Kloepfer
Beautiful place. We went to hike around and rode the indoor elevator to get to the top of the resort and hike around. Since we went in mid October all the ski lifts and slides were closed. Glad to have this option.

No. Skiers only
They do, and they regularly maintain them as well.
The snow will be ok in that date Sebastian.

There are also multiple ski shops near the lodges that have other brands of skis to demo.
There's a little museum, a good library and movie theaters, too.
There are lots of bicycles and places, especially in Park City and area...
Only when there's no snow. Same with Alta, Utah and Mad River Glen, Vermont. This will never, ever change. Ever. As a former expert ski instructor and occasional boarder I'll happily let these resorts do the dirty work when I'm looking to share a predictable and rewarding ski day.
Contact Sharp Shooters at the Snowpark lodge
There are sleigh rides from Empire lodge - or at least there was last year. I'm sure customer service will be happy to help you book.
Not
As of right now no. But in the near future possible as Deer Valley has been acquired by a company that owns both mammoth and big bear. Both destination snowboard and ski spots. Times are changing and while the niche era thinking is still around these resorts are about making money. I believe with Deer Valley being a part of this larger entity and the fact that they participate with the Ikon pass that this restriction will be lifted in the near future. But certainly not this season.
It is a ski only resort. Guests on alpine, telemark or mono ski equipment with feet placed side by side and facing forward are allowed. Snowboards and carving boards are restricted from use.
