We rented a tandem bike so my 5 yr old son could go on the ride with my husband and I! We biked the whole island in under 2 hours at a leisurely pace. You don’t have to be a guest to rent the bikes which was super nice. Staff was nice and we got in and out no problems! It was $20 a bike.

Wonderful shop, and great people running it! We got a flat tire on my bike, and the owner repaired it with a new innertube and got us going again so we could bike around this beautiful island, which we most highly recommend doing while visiting Jekyll Island!! Good luck finding the shop by Google or any other maps service, as they take you thru roads that are blocked to cars...took us a while, and a call to the shop, to find it. But it was well worth the trip there, and got a coffee at the Cafe next to it during the short wait.

Jekyll Wheels was a very nice experience. They gave us some good tips on the bike paths to take which helps us get the most out of our bike ride. We saw the historic sites, Driftwood Beach and ate at Tortuga Jacks outside on the ocean. It was truly a delight! We will be back.

Hey Brenda. I worked there when it first opened. The prices are different for guest and non guest. Also, the prices were by the hour, daily, weekly. It also changed on what type bike you would like to rent. Here's the current pricing which looks to be the same when it opened. Make sure to select the right tab for guest or non guest. I was told electric bikes are not for rent on Jekyll, but you can bring your own.
We have trailers and tandem bikes. Please call for more information on our pet policy riding in trailers.
There should be trikes for rent on the island and there are 3 seater bike's for rent.
Yes they are open year round. $6 for entry.
