My husband and I just spent six days there. It was great and we definitely will stay there again. Wish we had checked this out sooner. We always stayed at the Club hotel until they priced us out. The condo was exceptionally clean, well stocked with everything that we needed and we can't wait to stay there again. I would highly recommend the Villas be the Sea !

We stayed in the Morgan villa this year despite fancying ourselves Davenport villa folks, and it’s safe to say that J.P. Morgan himself would approve. Given, we didn’t have ceiling fans but neither did the gilded age (bldgs are charmingly named after the robber barons of the era). Otherwise, room was lavish. Our visit occurred during a full moon, and, while it was too cool to swim, one could say that we bathed in the moonlight on our romantic nightly strolls around the pristine grounds. Our entire group was entranced by the natural beauty, which was the backdrop for a weekend of merriment. Highly recommend, especially to those who yearn for a simpler time before secured Wi-Fi like us.

Upon arrival at the Villas one cannot help but notice the gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. With the buildings named after such American Royalty such as the Davenport's, Ellington's, etc. one cannot help but wonder what luxury awaits them. When one step's into their unit for the first time the extreme opulence that surrounds them does not disappoint. My family and I stayed in the Davenport for a long holiday weekend and could not have been more pleased with our visit. We awoke every morning to the beautiful sunrise over the water that we were able to view right from our balcony. Days were spent roaming the spacious grounds discovering new treasures around every corner. The Villas may not be for everyone, but they are defiantly the right fit for my humble family. Cheers!

Our family has been known to vacation at the Villas multiple times, and has found it to be the quintessence of island living! Although our first love was the Ellington, we have found that the Morgan with its alluring ocean views most handsomely captures the ethos of the Villas. Many a times we have walked the grounds contemplating life itself, and, although it is not for everyone, the Villas always keeps us yearning for more.

We lost our boardwalk and pavilion. Everything else is great.

We have some pet friendly rooms, not all are pet friendly. Please contact the hotel for availability of these rooms. These rooms are not available with online reservations. $100 pet fee if available.

Parking is limited, but there are extra spaces available at our Conference Center.
All of the dunes were washed away from the past 2 hurricanes, along with the walkways across the rocks. The State is in the process of adding new rocks to repair the shoreline and that project is slated to end in a few weeks. There is only a temporary access over the rocks now, but that may disappear until the project is completed. Phase II of the work is the backfilling of sand behind the rocks, but no timeline has been established yet to begin. Once that is completed, beach structures will be rebuilt. There are other beach areas just a couple minutes away by car.
