It was just ok. The location was great. I stayed in room 102. The bed sunk in on the left side and caused my husband to have back pain. The front desk was friendly. I loved the fire pit. The negative was the people with the two huge dogs on a very long leash. I would probably go to the other hotel that I stayed in next time due to the bed issue.

Love this place! The location is great, close enough to shops/restaurants/activities but far enough away that it's very quiet at this property. The staff are amazing! Will checked us in, offered us champagne and made sure we had everything we needed, even texting us after we got to our room to make sure everything was ok. I met Mel while visiting the lobby to grab hot water for tea, she was putting up Halloween decorations and having fun. Sarah from housekeeping saw me outside our room and asked if we needed anything (we had opted out of housekeeping services for our stay) and told me to contact her anytime. Staff texted several times during our stay to check on us. The property is beautiful. There are 2 firepits and a clean pool with a variety of seating options. Just past the pool area is a cute seating area under the trees that has a view of the back lawn and the water. The lawn behind the property has several seating areas and a swing. The Beach House restaurant is right next door, food is good; service can be uneven but that's not unusual in these times. We had a large king bed room with a kitchenette area and a large balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge was stocked with complimentary beverages. It would be so great if there was an elevator, because I like to stay on the top floor (I'm noise-sensitive) and it can be tough to drag your luggage up the stairs. The bathroom is small and would benefit from some storage solutions but it's functional. We love Jekyll Island and, after 2 stays at the Beachview Club Hotel, we've definitely found our "home" for visiting Jekyll.
