Very nice amenities that are paid for from outrageous charges and community fees. Everyones "rent" goes up almost every month from varies charges that are almost impossible to find in their portal system. They sold all their residents out to a towing/parking service, NPM Parking. There is not an issue with parking at Riverland Woods and there is plenty of spots for all residents and guests. But Riverland Woods wanted to plant 50 new palm trees around the entrance and probably 50k worth of lights for the entrance. Its kinda funny this happened right after they sold the towing rights and made every resident randomly start paying for it. Oh and they also let a towing company that's not even based in Charleston SC. They tow it an hour away to the neighboring Summerville, while there is 4 perfect companies on James Island that could do the job. Great to see they love helping the local community. Priorities are strictly corporate and the residents pay for it.

Well the place looks nice but I’ve been calling and calling and keep getting this animated menu to schedule a tour or talk to someone. I hit 2 to talk to someone and it rings a couple times and then gives the menu, I cannot get ahold of anyone to request pricing and a lease!

Riverland Woods used to be a good place to live, not anymore! They just hired a 3rd party company to patrol the parking lot and ticket your car for "violations" such as cracked windshields, flat tires etc. They do not listen to any of the concerns of the residents. They banned me from commenting on their Facebook page for leaving negative review. Management is rude and maintenance never responds in a timely manner during emergencies. They also refused to let me stay in the 2br apartment I've lived for the past 7 years because someone else signed a lease, and then tried to get me to move into a 1br apartment for practically the same price. There are better places out there, better to avoid these people

I don't write reviews unless it's deserved. And in this case it is very much deserved. I signed up for an apartment in August. Due to the intensely hot rental market in SC this place seemed like it was good as you could lock in a place once. However, I filled in an application, paid, got pre-approved, but nothing other than automated emails afterwards. I called them and emailed, was told I was going to be contacted and received absolutely nothing. By paying to receive an apartment I expected something in return, so two months later I charge backed the fee. ONE day before the lease started, and after the chargeback, someone finally contacted me about moving in which is absurd. To cap this experience off they are attempting to send me to collections!!! For an agreement they quite clearly never upheld. An application to an apartment logically comes with a reasonably timed acceptance or denial, and I got neither.

Pet fees are 350 per animal
About $1500, usually about $825 a person with all the added fees.
