The staff makes the property what it is. Gabby, Kahyla, Cassadi, Tiffany, and so on, do a wonderful job of fostering community and quickly addressing issues both in and out of the unit. The property is clean and smells great. Also, they hand the trash and package room well . There’s hardly ever a trash buildup and the packages are typically easy to find — even during Prime week.

Ive only been here for 3 months, but living here has been an absolute blessing. Big thanks to Gabriela at the front desk for her enthusiastic yet honest showcase of the place when I first toured, and for very patiently and thoughtfully answering my barrage of questions as a first time renter. As for the place itself, it’s got a lot going for it. Great kitchen/appliances, responsive and hard-working maintenance team, the common areas are tastefully lavish, and most impressively everyone who works at the Daley has, together, managed to make this place feel like a real community even in the midst of a pandemic. Oh, and did I mention free coffee? Be proud of yourselves, Daley staff :) y’all brighten my day! For the sake of completeness, a single criticism: the mail room is objectively terrible (take it from someone who works at the post office), though again to their credit the staff does their best to make it work. It’s just way too small for the amount of people living here, and this is exacerbated by the fact a lot of people are ordering stuff online during covid.

I got mine for just north of 2.1 grand on a 12 month, but it has a (small) den. Likewise, utilities and cable, etc., are not included. Overpriced, imo, but I needed something relatively quickly at the time I moved here. When my lease ends I’ll probably be moving to Cadence at Crown or Camden Shady Grove. Most of the apartment complexes in this area offer better value for your money - this one is simply the closest to the train, which isn’t always a benefit...

The commute to DC is isthemetroonfire.com and also depends on how many trains the new silver line needs to steal that day. The area is not quite a desolate wasteland of a railyard, but it's really clear that this was built to attempt to anchor a community that doesn't exist.
