Absolutely gorgeous campground. Lots to do with the beach and hiking trails. No nearby stores - so come prepared. Also a raccoon problem- tried stealing board games right off our table and was lucky enough to run off with a taco.

Finally camped here. We’ve been wanting to do it for a few years. Got reservation within 5 minutes of opening up on Jan 1st. Beautiful place. Well maintained. Best tide pools in WA. By far our favorite!

Truly beautiful camping area along the north coast of the Olympic Peninsula, not too far from Port Angeles. Lots of RV and tent parking spots. Coin operated showers for $0.25 per 2 minutes. Water was warm but not hot. Also have potable water, shared kitchen area, and sites with full hookups. Price for a non-resident to boondock (no hookups) was $26/night. Payment is on the honors system. Excellent trails and access to the sandy beach and tide pools.

One of the best campsites near the Olympics. Stunning oceanside views from the northern camping sites, and large plots for RV/campers. Tidal pools are especially beautiful, but use caution when descending (extremely slippery, stairs end at the beginning of tidal range). Trekking poles make it much more safe, but be aware of marine life, it's everywhere here. Expect to see sculpin, sea urchins, anenomes, hundreds of crabs, and other small ocean life. Campsites near the bluff experience more wind, don't forget to stake tents out. Restrooms are nearby and clean, and water for dishwashing (or drinking, if you bring water putification) is next door. Showers cost $0.25 per minute There's a very cool looking small island/large rock on the northern tip of the campsites; it looks a bit like the floating islands in Avatar, and is super cool. Easily accessible during low tide (tidal charts are posted on the map located near day use parking)

Fees: Standard site $26 per night; Utility Site $32 per night
There should be a office or camp host which you can talk to
The Salt Creak is a great place. There is handicap parking and showers. Most camping spots are first come first get. There is a host person and rangers. There is lot to see and beach access but some areas are dangerous. At Salt Creak also just passed camp grounds is the sandybeach just a walk or drive over to it. I have always enjoyed this area. Great view of the straits and Canada.
I dont believe so actually 😢 its protected land at the campground. But not 100% sure.
No, there isn't. I was just there this weekend and wished there'd been one
No. And cell service is spoty
As of last weekend sites were open but water had not been turned on for the season at the full book up sites.
Yes!
Checkout is noon so you want to be there before then.
There are first come first serve tent camping spots--just get there right at checkout. I think it's at noon.
I can only say that Verizon works well, which I know isn't your question, but maybe someone you are camping with has it.
Ues there is a fee and on the website is where you book. Super easy
Yes they are open. Bathrooms and showers are open as well.
