There are first come first serve tent camping spots--just get there right at checkout. I think it's at noon.
You can call and ask if they have any cancellations. If not, you can show up by the gate before nine am and wait around to see if anybody leaves. Spots 1 thru 15 are first come, I think.
Just get there early in the morning. It's not a guarantee to get a spot on a first come first serve especially on a weekend. Check around and ask if anyone is leaving so you can reserve a spot. Also check out Crescent Beach & RV right next door if you wanna camp near the beach
