These people are not here to rescue or help dogs. Do not be fooled by them. They are unknowelgdeable, do not rehabilitate or train animals and will euthanize any dog at intake if they are anxious and showing any signs of aggression because of that. They won't help any dogs that have even snapped at a person, they will just euthanize them. They are not ethical in their practices at all. They aren't honest at all about how they are treating animals. They are no better than the human society and seem to euthanize even faster than the Human society with out giving any animals a chance at a better life a good home like they claim to do. *the response from this company is not indicative of their action or the experiences of multiple different people which took me 5 min to find after hanging up with them. They are not working ethically, they are euthanizing irrationally. Their response is simply to save face and not at all a reality. Don't be fooled.

They did amazing, it is time consuming cause you have to drop them off and come back later but they do a good job.

Amazing full of information give time, location and low cost. My baby boy healed perfectly and easy to do online very happy and so is my baby boy! THANK YOU!
Twisty
The phone service sucks! They NEVER ANSWER, the app portal DOESNT WORK! I just cant make an appointment, i had to go directly to the hospital (walk in) and they made me wait a long time, i showed my phone yo this lady (that doesn’t show the appointment option), and after that they put me on waiting list

Dumb Friends League does it for free!
I would also be happy to take anything if it's for a 🐈 kitty. My little princess doesn't have much of anything but I also use a walker and can't get out but would love to try to make it work 🙂 So very sorry for your loss 🙏😢❣️
Dumb friends league can help you with that just make your appointment with time because they get booked fast.
Yes, I don't know specifics, but it is a large organization, and the hospital sees many patients.
You can call the main DDFL phone and i believe that there is an option for issue with recently spayed/ne . Please advise its not related to surgical emergency however their paperwork was misplaced.
Yes...they do both.....reasonable too...😁
Payment plans I know they do, vaccine, I would think so but not sure. Their more than happy to answer questions if you call em up
There is their vet next door they used to be called "pet aid" Google them. They have new name now. But yes they will fix your dog and shots. Normal office visit is 40 dollars, if the vet bill is to much for you to pay they have special Grant's that will cover your bill. My kitty got into a fight with strange cat got abscess on his head bill was 700 and I low income so they fixed my baby n covered my bill and his meds too.
Yes
tell then you have no funds and you might get it cheaper or to a payment plan
No
No, not at DDFL's "Solutions Clinic". But, DDFL has a mobile low-cost clinic that spays/neuters dogs. Look on their website for info.
Yes, but it's recommended to wait if possible. The reasoning is that during their heat cycle, they will have more blood going to those organs. Therefore, spaying during heat may increase recovery time.
They do. Check out their website for fees and new address. There is a wait list so I would schedule as soon as you can. I hope this helps.
It's the best for cheap
They put a check in list on the front door. They don't have many slots so you gotta get there early to make sure you get on the days list.
I'm sure they do but I have not used them for this type of service. I just know they are kind, caring, and extremely clean. They are a bit under staffed because of Covid just now so you may have a bit of a wait. Not sure how they screen for low income but they know what they are doing so they will have that so it's easy for you. Good luck and stay safe.
Because of COVID. You have to go online at 9am sharp on Saturday morning. Riverdale animal shelter and schedule an appointment for your animal for the following Wednesday. I know it is super frustrating. The spots fill up very quickly!
Why don't you just call.??
My cat got emergency surgery, on my bill there were no charges for the neutering
Yes but you cant go outside and need to come at 7am, then sign up on a sheet they provide to get your pet seen.
No they do everything and accepts payments.
I'd call animal control
Same place as the cats, $50
https://www.ddfl.org/solutionsvh/ Saturdays, 8 a.m.–12 p.m. The Dumb Friends League Solutions – Veterinary Hospital is offering a limited veterinary exam and all necessary core vaccines for $20 for cats and dogs. Microchips will also be available for $25. This is a first come first serve event for 100 people. We encourage you to be in line by 8 a.m.
Cats most likely stressed at the new family addition. They will cut back on food for a week or two. Make sure you vaccinate your cats for feline distemper in addition to getting them fixed
I got to peace love and paws instead of here
Esa are not alowed in public places just ur home on service animal are alowed in public places
Homeless show up with pets and they pay what they can. People usually pay $50.00 for dogs. But fixed incomes and the homeless get awesome breaks.
They spay and neuter dogs as well as cats.
Red rocks vet is great and reasonable priced.
Last I knew, DDFL charged $70 to euthanize, but they were not set up to let you be in the room with your pet. They've just finished a renovation, so that may have changed. If you truly can't afford $70, you can surrender your pet to DDFL with whatever donation you can manage. They will evaluate the animal and either provide treatment or euthanize in a warm room with a compassionate staff member present for comfort. They will not tell you what they chose. I encourage you to contact them to discuss your circumstances. They are trained to be non-judgmental and to support you and your pet through this difficult time.
Yes they are good but DO NOT BE LATE!!!!
I cannot any longer recommend Solutions. They seemed to treat my small dog reasonably well, but a routine procedure hurt her, and it has required time and effort to resolve. In addition, they are dunning me about the balance due on my account, but will simply not provide me a current statement of account.
They will call you, if there was an issue they'd call you right away. Try and relax until pick up time!
They do it free at times just call them and ask when the next time they are going to be doing it.
They are always free www.ddfl.org you can make appointment Sunday and monday closed hours 7am to 4pm
I'm sorry, please explain?
You can setup an appointment by going to: https://www.ddfl.org. I took my cat to get neutered which was free of charge, not sure about dogs.
The service is free until the grant money runs out. Support your local shelter!
I would call Solutions dumb friend League veterinarian they would know
You'll need to call the clinic for a specific question like that. They'll work with you.
I'm not sure, but there are a few canine blood banks in CO. Google to see what's closest to you.
Yes. I scheduled online, if you show that you are on snap, Medicaid or other services you do get it at a lower cost. Go to their website it will tell you their fees also and what will qualify you at the lower cost
No, most vets won't de-claw anymore. It's seen as unnecessary and inhumane.
No longer than 24 hours. The fresher the better.
The animals getting spayed or neutered can get age appropriate shots. This includes rabies shots if 4 months or older. The other shots including distemper etc are also included with the altering.
Yes! I think they give one or two for free, all the rest of basic shots are about $25/piece? They can also do chip them for $25
Not to my knowledge. Try the Feline Fix. They have very affordable vet visits.
Yes. Its easy. Just call for an appt.
Any organizations or programs which provide pet food to low income individuals, &/or disabled vets?
If you find a kitten outside and need assistance, please take it to Maxfund, Cat Care Society, Boulder Humane, or Denver Animal Shelter. Also, you can call Forgotten Felines, Animal Rescue of the Rockies or the Feline Fix - all foster kittens and may be able to help.
They do free vaccines at the time of spay/neuter (also free!). I don't think they do vaccines only. For vaccines only, Denver Animal Shelter has a great low cost vaccine clinics. Check website for schedule.
