Where do you go to get a cat nueterd free or for a low cost on a fixed income can't afford the cost of a regular clinics service.

Dumb Friends League does it for free!

In May of 2017 I went to the Dumb Friends League free cat spay/neuter clinic. As far as I remember I needed no proof of income. They did a wonderful job spaying my cat for free! No cost at all; they do accept donations so I gave what I could afford to help them continue this great free service to anyone. Again NO proof of income. Just call them up and find out what days during the month they offer the service. There is a drop off time early in the morning and then a scheduled pick up time later that afternoon. My cat's procedure went flawless. No infection and healed quickly. No follow up required as they used dissolvable stiches. Kitty was understandably cranky for a day or two after though, lol. Highly recommend for anyone who can't afford the vet.

The Denver Dumb Friends League is closed to all Spaying and Neutering, due the the recent increase of COVID19 cases in Colorado. I believe the Humane Society is still doing low cost Spay and Neutering for $77 per cat...a little higher for dogs. They also offer low cost vaccines, some of which they require your pet to have before they will spay/neuter them
