How old does a cat need to be before she can be spayed?

Boo was abt 4 mo old

Google says 6-8 months. But should be done before the cat reaches sexual maturity or around that time. Roughly 6 months. They can be done a bit earlier but that has more to do with the turn over in shelters.

I think 6 months to a Year old

They actually can and do spay while in heat. My cat was was spayed here during her first heat. As to the original question, I don't have that answer.

I think they recommended 4 mos. but I know that they cannot do it while a female is in heat.
