I cannot review with less than one star. This is the most ill managed business out there and I would not wish upon my worst enemy the so-called care and patient-centered services this group markets itself as. Do you like being placed on infinite call-back loops when trying to reach your provider's office? How about the exceptionally over priced insurance negotiated price for services? Or the fact that the provider will push for outdated industry tests (which insurance will not cover for this reason) which require you to make multiple additional appointments and pay cash for these "assessments" only as a way for a non-md practitioner to read a check box on whether or not you are suffering, rather than actually speaking, listening, and hearing patients when they provide their experience. What's even more frustrating is that this umbrella group has an extensive reach over mental health providers in my location. I do not have the option or ability to seek out a separate private provider who is not under this shell. So, I am stuck wasting hours of back and forth between various offices and trying to keep track of basic care that they are unable to provide. There are several administrative professionals I have spoken with who genuinely try to assist, or in the least, get through to a person who can. The actual providers I have met with have varied greatly from active-listeners who are engaged in the purpose of the appointment, to the providers who are clearly reading from the scripted screen and checking boxes on their end. While it is normal to have to work to find a provider you feel comfortable and confident with, the mismanagement of the group under GBHG/LifeStance has not been effectively organized and puts the weight of this struggle onto its patients. So, patients who are new and starting this journey need to understand the financial monstrosity and administrative nightmare it is to find a compatible behavioral health provider within this group.
