This company purchased my apartment complex about a week and a half ago. 3 weeks prior I complained to the previous owners about not having hot water and I received no response. Week two I walked to my leasing office under its new management (Woodruff Property Management) and was assured that the issuer would be resolved… When maintenance made it to my apartment I showed them mold that had accumulated in my son’s room due to a leak from what I had a assumed to be the hot water heater. Turns out it was from my A/C unit (not their fault but hear me out). Was assured that the mold would be “treated” and that I would have hot water within “45 minutes”… That wasn’t the case. The next day I contacted my leasing office and was assured by someone who treated me as if I was bother… Letting me know that the problem would be resolved. That maintenance was working on the hot water heater as we were speaking. Here we are week 3… I called this morning before I went to work… NOTHING! No hot water. This is really ridiculous. It is such a huge inconvenience because I do not have family here. I am having to boil water on my stove or take my son on post to have a decent shower. Compensation has not been discussed nor has a simple apology been made. My rent is $1300…. No amenities. Maintenance should NOT be an issue. I should not have to search for a decent shower. This has been a 3 week nightmare… But guess what!??? Rent will still be due on the 1st.
