I have had pieces of important mail (checks, government paperwork) delivered to wrong addresses in the area instead of my own. The only reason I received any of this mishandled mail was because of the goodwill of neighbors. If this has happened to myself on multiple occasions I can only imagine how many other residents of Ho-Ho-Kus have been effected. The postal carriers working in Ho-Ho-Kus need to be more careful and attentive while delivering postage.

I know you can, forward your mail to your new address online for 1-2 dollars for an entire year. However they do recommend change the address with all businesses and people sending you mail.
You can go to the USPS.com website or use the smartphone app. There is a tab called Hold Mail. That's the one you want...
