Edison Mobile Estates is great place to live it is well kept and clean

Prior to moving here over a year ago, I lived with very loud inconsiderate neighbors (where that management did nothing about). Having an chronic illness and working crazy hours, peace and quiet is critical for me. Everyone here has been so considerate, nobody blasts music/TV’s etc. or makes excessive noise. They are very friendly. This is the best place I have ever lived. I attribute it to the owners and their honest and straightforward screening process, to ensure a good fit for everyone. I know some people complain about the rules, but in my opinion it’s what kept this place such a hidden gem. They have been extremely helpful whenever I’ve had a problem or a question, and always keep on top of area repairs, snow removal, and cleaning. I truly hope it stays this way; because I would love to live here forever.

I don’t live there, but have driven through many times just to check the neighborhood out. One of the cutest mobile home parks in the state. Their sister community in Carteret is also beautiful. The neighbors wave as you drive by, so both seem to be very friendly places with happy residents. I just want to say the owners so far have been extremely helpful and friendly. I made an inquiry on a Saturday night not expecting to hear back until Monday, but to my surprise Maria actually immediately got back to me on a Sunday! I was able to make an appointment for Monday, which was very convenient as I happened to have a rare Monday off. This, in my opinion, is a very good sign as to what type of landlords they will be; responsive and helpful! I will write another review if I end up moving in, but I just wanted to comment on the excellent service so far.

Many home buyers pay $1400-$2000 for apartments nearby. They advise us of huge savings when they finance and pay the lot fee. The average was $1100 a month for a while, may be a little more now. Email us and we can give you the finance resources for manufactured homes in a land lease community in NJ and they can go over the numbers with you.

The mobile home insurance is relatively inexpensive. The property management maintains the land and they do a great job at it. 😀
You would have to drive through the community and see the phone numbers in the windows of the pre-owned homes. Brand new manufactured homes are running $75,000 and up. Look up our YouTube channel to see those homes.
No, unfortunately there is no lot large enough to accommodate a 3 bedroom home.
I don't think the pre approval requirement will be removed. It's not a difficult requirement and allows the sales office to know if you can afford to purchase a prefab home.

I know you can have dogs I'm not sure about renting month to month that's something you want to speak with the rental office about they might have special circumstances leases. But as far as I know they usually are rent to buy !! But def. call they are very nice and helpful there!!

We are not licensed to have travel trailers in our community. We are not licensed as a campground. We are only licensed as a manufactured home community with permanent utility hook ups.

Hi Efrain, No at this time we do not have room for multi-section homes. This is a community from the 1950's when the homes were 8ft wide and typically were on pull thru sites, so the sites are not large enough to accommodate larger homes. Slowly we are adding homes that are as wide as 16 ft but we have to address the zoning and building restrictions and setbacks to stay within certain parameters.
