Hello Ms. Summers: There are a few options for environmentally safe disposal of TVs. Thank you for contacting us. Nassau County residents may dispose of electronics at no fee during household hazardous waste collection events, our next event is Oct. 15. Or during business hours at the Callahan Convenience Recycling Center, https://www.nassaucountyfl.com/368/Convenience-Recycling-Center If you live in the City of Fernandina Beach, bulk trash removal is contracted for pickup, http://fl-fernandinabeach.civicplus.com/461/GarbageRecycling Another option is to contact our partner, Sensible Recycling, to confirm if they will pick it up for recycling or disposal: https://sensiblerecycling.com/
In Fernandina take to city disposal area. In the county I would take to dump. Or smash with sledgehammer and dispose of the ceramic particles in the trash I expect
If your old paint is latex (water based) you can add cat litter to the remaining paint in the can, leave the lid off and let the mixture solidify Once dry and hardened you may dispose of the can in your trash. You can also dispose of paint during a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event. Events are posted www.keepnassaubeautiful.org
