Sea Turtle Recovery

Since we are located within the Turtle Back Zoo, you can visit our public space as part of the zoo admission. This area of our building features a large window that overlooks the rehabilitation tanks.

Thank you for your question. Sea Turtle Recovery is a hospital for sea turtles from the ocean only. We do not work with fresh water turtles or land turtles. If you are looking to surrender your pet turtle, you will need to look for a reptile rescue in your area.

STR is a separate nonprofit located inside the Turtle Back Zoo. The zoo donated the building for our hospital, and you can see our patients through overhead monitors and a viewing window while at the zoo. Ticket prices can be found on their website.
