The worst service they never answer until (2 hours) waiting and all offices closed
Linda Johnston
When I call, I get misinformation and that the office IS OPEN. NOT SO. They make it Very difficult to validate you are who you are. Their response: send copies of your IDENTITY: SS card copy, birth certificate copy, DL copy, document with your name and address on it, and a Voided check!! If someone filed a fraudulent claim on my behalf, WHY would I Trust the Postal Service to get the info safely?! Of course, I can Pay extra to have it sent safely but I’m unemployed.

Had interview today been on hold since 8 am it's now 916 am got two phone lines going ridiculous no one can be that busy. And my interview time ends at 930 am.Had`another interview at 11 am held 3 hours ofcourse I am late not fair at all.I was a hour early.Im still on hold this is so sad.OMG no one is there?Years later still on hold for hours. This is pure sad.I think the five star reviews are written by staff.A year later they are not answering for 4 hrs then hang up.So frustrated.

This place is a complete joke. We have been back and forth for the last year with this place about our case. Nobody knows what they’re doing over there…and you’re lucky if you get ahold of a real person. They send you an initial interview letter dated after the day of the interview. Send notices of missed appointments where nobody answers. We have spent hours on hold every time we’ve called. To top it all off, you can’t even go in to figure anything out.

Go in person they are worthless and no matter who you complain to they don't care.
Peggy! 1st of all! Im sorry thatwelcome to Job & family services medicad! Where no one cares!! I personally cant drive due to Medical conditions! So,I got rides there,to go to there self serve,to get EVERYTHING faxed into my file! Long story short! I'd got cut off my food assistance, I ended up calling civil rights & filed an appeal, I did have a hrg & won & got bk pay! Anyways! There should be a fax number to your local job & family services., is that who told you that? If so,don't belive it,they did the same thing to my daughter! Call Medicaid toll free number! They are supposed to be seperate! Good luck. I hope this helped??Peggy Also! Make sure to keep an accurate file of your own, keep track of names, times that you called dates, keep copies of everything!! I worked for the state of ohio.yrs ago & always gave this advice to EVERYONE 😊p.s.NEVER mail ANYTHING & if you do pay the extra $1 or $2 & have it certified return,so you get track of WHO signed it!
I had an interview Tuesday at 10:30, "they" told my daughter & I they would call us!! It's even on our paperwork! We started calling them bk@ 10:40 am! To only get recordings they had a high volume of calls & then it disconnected us! What the heck!! And,I tried to call & talk to a supervisor! Due to all the problems we have had since moving from Fairfield county to Franklin county! This place is a joke!!
You filed a month ago for assistance? Nicole?? Omg!! Go there in person! Don't wait for these people,Iam sorry! Did you happen to make a copy of your paperwork? And for the jerk that told her to get a job?? Wth?? You don't know her circustances!
I had the same problem so n9w I'm waiting on a call back🙄
Go in there,Ive had to go in there myself & waited 3 hours, pack something to drink & snacks just in case! When it comes to getting my assistance i need,i wont stop at anything, till i get answers, its best to go early in the morning or around 3 p.m cuzz they close at 4pm. It doesn't matter how many times you call, they don't answer! Or if you finally reach somone, they will give you a bogus answer! It's best to go in person & get the run around! Sorry but it's true😟
Phone lines open at 8a
They should have responded in 30 days. If not call them or go in person to their office.
What is Fax # Plz
Omsbudsman contact number can be found in google search
U can call the number on the the back of your card, Normally, job & Family Services doesn't answer personal questions like this on here,I dont think? Or call customer service@ job & family Services
If you have concerns contact the Administrative Staff. You could possible go online see if there is a link for those folks.
You can also subscribe for text messaging alerts to get notifications about your case.
I waited 2.5 hrs just for a lady to answer and hang up on me
Yes. 10 people are allowed in downstairs lobby at a time
Then call your County, job & family sevices, customer service,or go in person
I'm an out sourced custodian there. I have no knowledge of their business operations!
Unfortunately there is no one else to call except the 844#. This is their process.
When you called did you speak with a case manager or call center agents? A case mgr would have run your case. A call center agent would have just confirmed the docs were received. If the docs didnt have the info to determine your eligibility......could that be what happened?
I'm a custodian there. I can't provide a answer
Wouldn't know, I'm a custodial there
To which one
The agency does not call out any more. You call in on your appointment time. If you call first thing tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. your wait time will be shorter and you will talk to a case manager.
I did my paperwork back on August 21 for my Medicaid since I'm on disability and I haven't heard anything back from them no letter, call email nothing.. nobody won't even pick up the phone..
I worked security there, wasn't involved with how they run it.
I don't know if they even have a fax.
Yes, you can still apply for benefits while waiting on your decision.
Some are already receiving theirs but definitely by the end on September (this month) If your child/children are eligible and you haven't received them just call Franklin County until you receive them The days vary but you'll get them
LTC stands for long term care also known as waiver care. This is coverage for home health services, nursing home care.
I believe so.
If you're employed with children in your household then you would need to submit the PRC application, your past 30 days proof of earnings, 2 estimates from two separate car repair shops showing how much it would cost to repair, proof of driver's license, title, registration, and insurance.
If they are request a state hearing. Take all requested forms and verifications into one of the opportunity centers have them scanned in and make sure you get a receipt. Also check county website some forms and email adress are available to submit forms and verifications.
Did you sign and return any paperwork sent out to you?
Yes you can apply. You must provide proof that your benefits have been discontinued in the other state in order for benefits to be issued in Ohio.
No email for food, Medicaid, and cash benefits. You can use case manager direct e-mail, but not recommended. Better to fax verifications (you can fax for free from Columbus public library) or walk it in. You can also upload documents if you have access to your account at ssp.benefits.ohio.gov
