As usual my experience with Mary is always excellent and informative with the latest wheelchair models. One of the many good things about Mary Shea is that she always keeps in mind what my needs are and what best can help me succeed this challenging world we now live in. If it were possible, I would triple the amount of stars "hands down". Thank you, Mary for everything you do for us, and I would also like to extend my gratitude to the staff members of West Orange Kessler Rehabilitation Center and Wilpage Medical (Filipe Souca) THANK YOU. Sarah Hicks was very thorough in explaining and carry out the test I had. Marianne Tulman

Mary from OT evaluated me for my left foot pain and difficulty walking. She clearly explained the various components of a wheelchair which was ordered to help me. I am very satified with the inference that the wheelchair gave me and the excellent support by all the professional staff there

I been to Kessler several times their rehabilitation program is second to none, the nurses are great. Be aware of the billing department they will make mistakes, and when you point them out they will not correct them, they will just want you to pay more money to balance their books. I was billed a portion to my physicians' services account, that should have gone to inpatient stay account, I was unaware and paid it. When I told them what happen the billing department said they are unable to transfer funds between accounts and they are bulling me to pay extra for their mistake. Now I found out Kessler told my insurance company they applied it to my hospital account. So they are scamming me for extra money. Beware of this practice, this isn't my first time!

How many visitors in a room? What time is visiting hours. IS THERE A cafeteria for visitors?
It depends on the time your doctor gets off or if your visiting someone then I think its hours are over at 8pm, but security is there 24hrs
The outpatient department is usually in operation from about 6:30 am to about 7 or 8 pm. Hours vary on the scheduling side of things and some days, mostly holidays, they may be closed or observing special hours. They do not offer pick-ups or transportation to and from your appointment. Your insurance company will provide you with transportation companies that will work with you on scheduling rides. If you ever need assistance using Uber or Lyft the guard or operator will be able to help you no issue!
Thankyou so much!!
Children of all ages are permitted. Over 16 must sign with reception in the Main Entrance. With children (or anyone) if they are sick, the hospital asks that they wear a mask or wait until they're feeling better before visiting a loved one.
Visiting hours aren't really soecific. It depends who is on shift because a lot of the times they won't say anything if yall aren't disturbing anyone. When I was inpatient we used to play poker until 3am
From time to time family is encouraged to participate in sessions, especially in instances where the family will become the caregiver or will be transporting the patient, both for the patient safety a d the safety of loved ones. But feel free to talk to the therapists for details.
Yeah full showers every other day, depending on the patients condition they have a shower chair so the patient showers sitting down
If your sister has her own personal phone then you can call her whenever you like but if it's the room phone I don't believe they will allow long distance calls that far and if so they will probably charge a lot.
