Overprice for simple procedures use doctors offices instead. Estimates are grossly understated.

After my cardiac catherization I had to wait at least 4 hours in a noisy recovery area to get a room. Also, I felt like a prisoner with the chair and bed alarm. They also delivered food which I did not order. The workers did notrespect your privacy. The doctors did a great job but I hope I never have to be in this hospital again!

I had open heart mitral repair surgery at Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute (not sure why someone's posting about knee surgery on this page as it's a heart center) in September 2021. Dr. Magovern performed my surgery and did an amazing job. The entire team was absolutely incredible and really put my mind at ease (answering tons of questions in the consult as well as in the weeks leading up to my surgery). There were some COVID restrictions in place but the nurses (Kelly Ann, Natasha, Gabby, Udem, Natalie, Nicole, Valerie, etc. I will never forget your kindness) and doctors who took care of me were absolutely incredible, including Dr. Beamer who is now my cardiologist. I cannot recommend the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute and the team there enough. It's an absolutely gorgeous facility which helps you to not completely feel like you're in a hospital.
