Fabulous location! The campground is well cared for. We have tent camped, pop up camper and stayed in the yurts. It's one of our favorite places to go for a few days away. Always staffed by friendly, helpful folks as well as the park rangers. Wildlife is almost always around.

This is the best of the best State parks I have been to the views, the lake reservoir, the amenities like a bathhouse a laundry room a place to do your dishes campsites are clean have your own picnic table Fire Pit BBQ Pit Etc this place is above and beyond one of the best places I've ever been and I've been here twice now LOL

Lots of information available and a large area dedicated to educating kids. Variety of books includes scary stories for all ages, cookbooks for camping, astronomy for all levels, and basic flora/fauna id. Knickknacks include Christmas tree ornaments, magnets, bookmarks, stuffed animals and more. Outside are various hiking trails and the best scenes in the state. Gorgeous overlook of the south side of the lake and surrounding mountains.
