Some renovations going on but otherwise a cool stop. Very family friendly but entrance to visitor center is not currently handicap friendly. There is a nice cafe/ gift shop as well. Portable potty available near entrance.

An amazing place to see. Plan to spend at least 2 to 3 hours here. At the visitors center there is a walking tour. Then you can get in your car and continue to drive to all the different areas. The landscape is amazing. At one location you can actually see Indian writings. Definitely worth the time to take and see.

This place was awesome! I went into the park with somewhat low expectations and was blown away. Definitely would like to visit again.

I always wanted to come here, as when we were young, we would hear our Grampa talk about the "Painted Desert". To our delight, the colors of the desert rock formations and natural vegetation were beautiful, . . different hues of browns, gold, orange, etc. It was great to take in the moment and history of it all in honor of our beloved "Gramps". It was the desert he loved and now we know why! The gifts shops were great to stock up on all our memorabilia to mark this occasion! It was a great adventure!
