Great place to stop and talk with someone who knows all the area's rich history. Easy parking out front. Right next to a great coffee shop/deli, and across the street from Summit Ski Resort. Good place to check in to get maps and ideas for hikes, snowshoeing, trail runs, ski info.

Road conditions at the pass can be found at the DOT (department of transportation) website.
No, the visitor center does not rent equipment with the exception of snowshoes for those on their guided walks. Ski and snowshoe rentals are offered at the Summit ski resort.
