Beautiful park! We saw Hurricane Ridge at sunset & it was breathtaking! Hoh rainforest was nice, but not overly impressed. I think it would definitely be better during the rainy season.

If you are visiting Olympic national park you need to come here! Get your “national park passport stamp” and learn about the trails and nature out here! There was a lot of information plus free maps available. The people working helped point us in the right direction for some fun trails!

Journey begins at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center culminating at an elevation of 6700'. Awesome nature views and absolute wilderness!!! Abundance of wildlife. A must visit place for nature lovers!!!

We were visiting Olympic National Park for the weekend and decided to stop in and let the kids get their JR ranger badges and see what else we could learn while there. This is a fun place to stop for kids that need to get their wiggles out. The Park Rangers are so helpful and know how to have a good time with the kids. I highly recommend a stop in when visiting Olympic National Park. Small gift shop, clean restrooms and lots to learn as well as walking trails straight from the parking lot. Also a great photo OP area with the welcome sign which has easy parking near it for photos. Enjoy!

No, only limited items you can request from the ranger, but general browsing is not
Check out Airbnb's in the area. There are some nice cabins available, most with kitchens. There are so many beautiful places to visit in the area. I recommend the app called AllTrails to be able to see what kind of hikes you can go on. It tells you length of trail, estimated time, skill level, conditions of trails, and how to get there. If you want to see a waterfall, type that in the search and it will recommend trails to take you to a waterfall. Its really cool. Marymere Falls is a beautiful waterfall with a gorgeous and easy hike through a mossy old forest. Lake Crescent is beautiful to see, and East Beach is a neat spot to park and take in the sights (theres also picnic tables and an outhouse restroom). I hope this helps a little. Enjoy your stay!

The park is open 24 hours though the visitor center opens at 9 am.
No reservations needed for Olympic National Park,I foulnd the only park we needed reservations s for was Yosemite and they were scheduling 3 to 4 days out.
Yes service animals are welcome You can't actually go in the building at this time. Rangers are on the porch to answer your questions and give out information and maps.
You don't need a park pass to camp at the Mora Campground.
The parking lots have to be empty so I suppose if you parked elsewhere you could be on site but no camping
Please check their website for the correct location of the venue.
