I was a first time visitor today. I had the best meal and dessert I’ve had in years. Easily in my top three of best meals I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The Italian sausage pizza, the truffle fries, the jerk chicken, the chocolate cake for dessert - all incredible. Wow! So impressed. THANK YOU! A massive thank you to Lou who was our server… he was fantastic. We’ll be back.. our new favourite spot! Highly recommend. Don’t miss out on this place!

Visiting Grand Forks, decided to give The Toasted Frog a go. Very happy with my choice! The vibe and scene was exactly what I was looking for, chill, laid back, excellent bar tender, and the food (a delicious pizza and baked brie for dessert) were top notch. Couldn't have been more impressed with this establishment. If I have a complaint, it would be the beer offerings were limited and the majority were fruited in some way. But the rest of the experience far outweighs my small complaint. If I visit Grand Forks again, this place is near the top of my list.

Four of us waited for about an hour and 20 minutes to get our meal. The waitress offered no apology. When the food arrived, mine was lukewarm and the pork was half done. She said she would take it back and get me a new one, again with no apology. I asked to speak to the manager. He came up and said that that was the way they cook their pork - that they don't fully cook it! He offered no apology, nor to rectify the bill, which should have been taken care of. After a lengthy wait, and while everyone was finishing up their dinner I flagged the waitress. She said my meal should be coming up right away and I ask for it to be boxed up, and to please remove the charges on my bill. The service was comparable to the last time I was there about four years ago. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

The martini’s here were fantastic. I got the special which was pasta with mushrooms. Wasn’t my favorite but the food is usually very good.
