Ever since there has been a change in management, maintenance request have been a drag . Sometimes wait 5 days for anyone to come “fix” the job but not everything gets fixed and gets posted up on my end as “work completed” and no one stops by sometimes . Called the office and straight to voicemail

Although I scrolled down and saw water bill issues but was still considering leasing 2/2 bed bath. The initial quote on apartment.com is 2095(760sq ft) and 2145(880 sq ft). I sent them a mail they responded confirming the rent price. Now I wanted to schedule a virtual tour so called them and now the price has changed to 2445 and 2375 within 2 days. Thank god I didn’t end up here. They seem shady from the start. Ps I do believe the water bills are ridiculous high and I think the people responding to rental inquiries are trying to sublet the apartment and pocket profit.

Worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. They split the water bill between all tenants in one building since they all run on the same meter which to me seems very unfair and ridiculous, on top of that they did not digress that we had to pay a water bill upon signing the lease even tho we had asked about utilities, not to mention if you don't pay your water bill they take it out of your rent and then charge you a late fee for "not paying your rent on time". Front office could care less about tenants. There was a beehive by the playground and said they weren't willing to do anything about it, said it wasn't their problem, multiple cars broken into mine included. Unit had damage from previous tenant and had old paint upon move in.

Place has went downhill fast. Homeless from the park across the street walk freely around the complex steeling everything that’s not bolted down. Had my garage broken into and several of my neighbors had there cars broken into as well. Security shows up for ten minutes each night but then is nowhere to be seen.

Select Essex communities offer homes that may be considered rent controlled. Availability and leasing terms are subject to change at any time. Essex also offers below-market rent (“BMR”) programs at select communities. While this is not a rental assistance program, BMR units may be available to residents who qualify based on their annual household income and the number of individuals living in their household. To determine if the community you are interested in offers BMR options, please contact the leasing office for more information.
