This is the apartment complex of apartment complexes! Pros! The amenities are pretty awesome, the complex is extremely clean, trash valet is something I never had to deal with before but it has been a pretty pleasant experience. the office is on top of their stuff and very responsive. Jalen, Ricky and Marcie have knocked it out of the park. Pro tip: One thing I noticed, there is almost always people in the office, potential new residents, current residents, etc. So I sometimes do not get a call answered since they are with someone. I just send them an email and have an answer in no time. Makes it very easy to keep track of communication. Packages delivered? I used to be nervous because other places I lived, it would be left outside. Had packages stolen before but here it is in a locker in the lobby. Gym is pretty great as far as an apt gym goes. Pool has been clean and great. Pest control is very good. I do not see any pests anywhere. Cons: The only two cons I have about this place is the dishwasher, compared to everything in the apartment, it seems so old. Like it was bought from an apt complex that went out of business or something. Two, Uber eat drivers get very confused trying to find my apt. Haven't had a single driver be able to locate my apt on the first try. Same for me when I first moved in. It isn't the easiest to tell the difference between the buildings. This is minor when I consider everything else so not really a big deal to us. My 9 year old says this place is a 20/10! So the kid approves too!

So, this review is going to be hard to write. My experience when we moved in was not my experience moving out. My girlfriend and I moved into this unit in 2021. We had come from a terrible apartment with roaches, flooding, and mold.... It was just terrible. So moving to The Capital at Stonebriar was such a breath of fresh air, literally. We moved in and loved it; however, with a change of management, it has sadly gone severely downhill. However, I do appreciate this complex for the good they have done for us. I believe the management issue resides above the level of management present at thr complex. They are incredible. Rather than get into specifics, I'm just going to lay out the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Building one (of 2) contains all of the amenities aside from the dog park. It was unbelievably easy to get to whichever amenity we wanted to enjoy. (pool, gameroom, terrace bar, courtyard, etc.) 2. The parking garage. As we all know, Texas weather can cause quite a bit of damage. Having a parking garage was a gamechanger. Rain, snow, or sun, my car was untouched. 3. The leasing office staff are very approachable and helpful. They keep the lobby scented and constantly play great music. The ambiance is great! 4. This apartment complex is a great place to live if you work in Frisco/Plano. It is located right by the stonebriar mall, stonebriar shopping center, and Preston/ Lebanon Rd. And now for the not so desirable aspects of living here.. Cons: 1. We ultimately decided to leave because what was once a safe and secure complex is no longer safe. Within the last 5 months of our lease, every locked door (garage to units, Mailroom) minus the leasing office door was broken and not replaced. Therefore, anyone can roam the halls, vandalize property, and steal mail. My girlfriend and I both pay for parking and constantly have people park there. When a car was towed from my girlfriend's spot, the resident who illegally parked there returned to slash 2 of her tires. When this was brought to the leasing offices attention, they did nothing. They wouldn't even wave her parking fee from that month even though over $1000 in damage was done. And yes, a police report was filed. 2. We lived on the second floor and were constantly startled by the noise from the unit above us. Banging, crashing, crying, yelling. I mean, good God. I never met my upstairs neighbors, but I hope that family is alright. 3. The gate to the parking garage rarly works. It was constantly broken and at times locking us in when we initially moved in here. It's been working now more than not. 4.There is a very convenient dog park located in the parking garage. I routinely brought my dog there before bed. Even though this complex picks up the dog poop every day, it remains awful. The smell is overpowering, and there is 0 accountability for residents not picking up poop. 5. They have some sort of issue with the fire suppression system in both buildings where the alarm (the loudest alarm I have ever heard) goes off multiple times sometimes just in a week. There is no fire, just a bandaid on the fix I'm sure. It has startled me awake at 5:00 am a handful of times, and has done a number on my ears. I swear this constant neussense has given me tinnitus. I wish I was kidding. It's more rare now, but it has been an issue and a big one. The reason why my review is 3 out of 5 stars is the way management has allowed this complex to nose dive. I really want to give this place a better review since my initial experience was beyond amazing, but man, has this place changed. This community is a great place to live! It just used to be much better.

I’m a long term resident. I moved here in 2016. I’ve been more than satisfied with my apartment! Close to everything and 1 min to 121! Management is great and they always get things done quickly! We have a great onsite police officer and it’s really quiet also! The maintenance guys are friendly and work quickly. The only reason I’ll move from here is when I’m building my new home soon.

I’m going on my 3rd year living here and I am happy with my experience. Apartments are spacious and well laid out. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. I’ve rarely had any issues with noise and if there was it was promptly addressed. You can’t beat the location. The gym and pool are a nice bonus—more modern than an apartment I’ve lived at with a similar price point.
